Fifteen Journey - Chapter 28

“Stop pulling me off!”
“Shht, be quiet!” Kane whispered.
And there he was with Rick’s baby sister. But what for? We didn’t even have any necessity of doing that! But, as a average report, he was curious. However, he wasn’t capable of not allowing Rick’s sister to come along, so they were now stuck in the water-pipes of the fortress where the Tourch’s files where supposed to be. Due to his searches, he managed to find out old stories, in the last Tourch dispute, fifteen years ago.
Finally, they started advancing again. Slowly advancing…
“Are we there yet?” the impatient 10-year-old asked.
“No, be quiet!”
However, she didn’t want to quiet. Fortunately, they finally reached the room where the files were supposed to be.
“Let’s see…” Kane observed the map. “The files are supposed to be here…” he said advancing towards old furniture.
Kate, impatient, took out the files “I can help. Dad already taught me how to read!”
“Ok, you can help. But be quiet!”
She shook her head in agreement.
Kane opened the powdered drawer. After coughing a bit, he stayed there stunned.
“What’s the matter, big cousin?” the little girl asked in a silent mode.
“How are we gonna see so many files???” he said as quietly as his impatience permitted.
“Oh, well…” she checked the amount of paper “Better start!!”
She was too cheerful…
However, after hours of reading, the paper hadn’t appeared yet. The papers holding the report of last Tourch dispute… Where the hell where they?
Kate seemed tired too. It was too much for a little girl…
Kane was now holding a new file. Tourch… It was it! He had found it.
The search ended that moment, not due to Kane’s discovery, but because of a noise coming from outside the room.
‘Oh, no!!!’
Kane, as quickly as his sleeping legs permitted, brought Kate and the file close to him and hide behind a desk. Afraid a dispute could bear; Kane took out his knife and prepared himself. Kate was shivering with fear, feeling the evil arriving.
Indeed, someone entered the room and, after lighting the room, used his loud a soul-less voice.
“Show your faces or I’ll blow this room in pieces.”
Kane was stunned. How could he possibly know they were there?
“I don’t want to kill a toddler…” he said showing no emotion in his voice.
Kane joined forces to face him. He couldn’t put Kate’s life in danger.
Kane stood up and looked at the challenger. Somehow, he recognised the middle-aged man.

The battle was alive, Sloan didn’t want to lose. However, the enemy didn’t show any signs of fatigue, on the other hand, Sloan was losing power. But the secret weapon was still there. Time to use it…
The opponent was trapped inside a huge dark grey bubble, whose size was decreasing as time passed. Sloan’s opponent seemed surprised at first, but he then grinned, turning at the person who set the bubble, a really good looking and tanned girl. She was sweating and trying to gather her force to keep the guy in the bubble. However, she wasn’t capable of accomplishing her aim.
The opponent didn’t give enough time to Sloan to take advantage of the prisoner. He let go his force and quickly set him free of the tiny bubble. Sheila was stunned. So fast!...
Sloan was trapped. Sheila was breathing heavily and couldn’t help him. The opponent target was only Sloan, the only Tourch player around. Not any more.
The opponent called his magic to his hand and put the green-lighted power right in front of Sloan’s head. The power grew, now it was emitting electricity.
“Ten seconds…” the opponent grinned.
Nine…
Eight…
Seven…
“I…” Sloan started.
Five…
Four…
Three…
“…quit…”
Two…
One…
The blast occurred. Sloan was lying in front of the winner.
“Sloan!!!” Sheila shouted.
“He’s alive.” The opponent affirmed. “I expelled the power permitting the blast to only target his shoulder.”
In fact, it was the only part of Sloan’s body bleeding.
“You’re my master now…”
“Sloan?” Sheila asked to confirm if Sloan had spoken.
The loser painfully sat in the sandy land.
“Say whatever you want me to do, I’ll follow you always, my master…”
The winner grinned again.
“Defeat who else hasn’t been beaten yet. That is my order.”
Sloan agreed. In a second, the winner disappeared.
“What do we do now? Follow his orders?”
“Yes, Tom Moan, number 1 of Tourch, is my master…” he declared.

Author’s Note:
Hiya! Sorry about not writing about Rick journey, but I really had to clear these two points out. Next two chapters will conclude the battle against Annya, I am sure of that.
But the school is starting already! It was only yesterday that I went on holiday!!! I am starting to hate holidays for passing so fast…
Anyway, comment!
