Fifteen Journey - Chapter 5

The dance wasn’t as enliven as thought. The last article arrived as a bomb. Everyone murmured as the professional voice echoed through the city. Some of them still not believe and others protested. This was a very difficult situation.
Magic was at this time of history, regarded as a violent act to people. The candidates that chosen magic as their art, would probably be those who could win Tourch. Rick was conscious about this fact but he wasn’t the kind of people who would give up only because of such a minor problem.
It was tradition to make a dance before introducing the candidates but this year the dance was dead. Rick tried to forget his problems dancing with local females who asked him for, but that really did not cheer him up. He was worried about the future, the stories that parents usually tell little children to make them eat their vegetables. Some of them were about magic and how people got obsessed in getting and having that strange art. The magic’s adverseness remoted to past events that killed many people. Therefore, magic was banned and forbidden for Rick’s country.
“Wanna dance?”
“Oh, ok…”
And he went for another dance. This time it was a dance in a large group where females changed their partners as the dance continued. And he danced. And really forgot about his present problems. Until he saw his new partner. Cassey…
“Meet again, hum?...”
“Yeah, think so…” Rick replied.
“Why have you run away from me?”
“Nothing…You’ll find out sooner or later…”
“At least let me know your name!...”
“Rick…”
“Ok, Rick, try to be as fool as you can but I want to know why you’ve run away today!”
They were dancing while changing words. And their dance was getting intense and quicker.
“You have nothing to do with my business.”
More velocity.
“Yes, I have.”
More passion.
And they do not follow the dance rules. They were just arguing with each other: who ever won the dance, won the discussion.
“Please, I would like to have the candidates in stage.”
“I’m late!” the two of them replied stopping the fighting. They turned in different directions, only to see each other again some minutes later…

Next Chapter:
Now then, time to now the characters. But there are few that are unpredictable. Or are Rick the most unpredictable character of all???

Authors note:
I’m really sorry. So I made this chapter in about 30 minutes only for you to go on as quickly as I can with the story. I am spending this holiday making new chapters because next week I’m really busy with tests and stuff to do. This was short but is the ending of the boring part!

first of all let me just say that even writing this in 30 min i loved it, mainly the part when they started to dance faster and harder as they were arguing. But i must say that i rather that you take more time writing the story and trying to make it more perfect that writing in such a hurry. On the other hand... i'm eager to know the other characters.
If this was the boring part i don't know how is it going to be from now on, because i'm loving this called "boring part" (it's not boring at all).
love you!!!!!!!

ps: Como é que se chamam as árvores que dão couves?
