Fifteen Journey - Chapter 22

Why are we fighting?
This wasn’t Rick’s nature. Be there, trying to be a champion. Even his courage had limits. But now, there was no turning back. He had to fight. For his life…
The thoughts ran intro his mind. Fred was trapped and was waiting for Rick’s first movement. However, all turned unpredictable. The first to move was Cassey. Right behind his nose, she pulled out a pouch and threw the powder she had thrown before to the floor. They couldn’t see Fred in the middle of the dust.
‘First part concluded.’
Rick was now waiting. The moment of decision was arriving. When he would see the machine… The moment, it arrived too soon.
Taking less than a second, Fred reached Rick and grabbed him by his neck, not permitting Rick to touch the ground. Thynia fell in the floor abruptly.
“Do you give up now?”
Trapped. Neither Cassey or Mike could help, or Rick would be disqualified, since his life wasn’t in danger. Fred was giving him a chance to give up…
Fred was patiently waiting for an answer from the desperate Rick that was trying to escape.
“This is the end for you. Just tell me when you accept your destiny.”
‘My destiny…’
The fatigue was winning again. Rick felt tired. Too tired. The next time he opened his eyes, he wouldn’t be in reality, but in his brain’s illusions. And he closed his eyes.
Was this the end? In fact, he was now in his own mind. He saw his past, his friends, trying to persuade him not to give up while playing hide and seek. And then, he saw himself teaching his little sister to walk, followed by a vision of his mother’s death and his father transmission of courage. Messages for his future. A lesson to fight for his dream. His dream… what was his dream anyway? Was it worth to fight for something that not even him knew what it was? His dream. Impossibilities ran throw Rick’s head. But then he saw a better future. That is what we always fight for, the hope for a better world. That was his reason to fight…
He opened his eyes. His decision was made. He saw Fred staring at him worried and, with unnatural force, Rick escaped from Fred using the strength in his arms, and grabbed Thynia from the floor. Fred, Cassey and Mike were stunned.
“How the hell you did that? HOW???”
Rick didn’t lose time answering him.
Let the energy flow in your body…
He quickly approached Fred, to finish the battle…
It will soon be over…
With all the strength left, Rick penetrated the robot’s armour. Fred was almost hit but, luckily, Rick spent most of his strength trying to penetrate the armour.
“Ah, that isn’t enough! You need to try harder!”
Fred pressed another button and waited.
“Blasted thing, why aren’t you obeying?”
Only later he stated that Rick had destroyed the main motor. Without it, Fred hadn’t energy. The fight was over.
Fred went outside the machine to claim his defeat, but what he saw worried him too much. Rick had fainted.

No sunrise, for him, the sun would never rise again. It was only a matter of revenge, and it would take some time. Even if he would have to use some puppets, he wanted to win. Someone knocked at the door and, by one of the judge’s movement, the door opened abruptly. A servant of his was with a decent posture waiting for an entrance order.
“What do we have today?” the soul-less judge asked.
“A report from Dismey, sir.”
The judge grabbed the report and ate every word written in it.
“Are you sure this is reliable source?”
“Yes, sir. No mistake.”
The judge wrote something in a paper and deliver it to the servant.
“Make sure this is only read by Pramiet, in Veious academy. We need it.”
The servant understood immediately and quickly left the room.
The judge stood up from the chair where he had been sat and kicked the same chair with anger.
‘It can’t be. Why now? The power has been unlocked… but, by whom? Which player?’
His plan was about to fall apart, but the puppet seemed to be ready. After all, he was Tourch’s judge.

Next chapter:
“Yeah, but there is a reason to go with you. I need to find someone…” Fred murmured.

Well... to be honest, I think this chapter hasn't got the quality of others you did before. When everything seems to be lost, it suddently changes so the hero never fails.
Please see this comment as something to help you in further chapters, and not as something just to tell bad things about this story.

BTW, why aren't your commentors commenting, in those last posts? Are you failing to anounce our blog? :P

Well, don't worry. I kind of put myself without an exit when writing this stuff. This victory is pretty stupid but it is to prepare later chapters (for Kane too). I like your critics to make me understand what I'm doing wrong so you can say whatever you want.
The matter is that I discovered that our Saritah is enjoying some rest at the States (rrrrrrr), and Fred have had his computer to fix.
I'm not having classes now!!! :P And it's my mom birthday and she went abroad!!! :P She isn't coming till Sunday(I guess...).
I'll promise next chapters will be more logical. Sorry for that, my imagination can work as fast as my hand.
It's all now!
