The Haunted Tower - Chapter 8

I'm back in action with the 8th chapter of the story The Haunted Tower. I'm really hating this title, because it makes the story look different from what it is: a high fantasy adventure. What kind of high fantasy story has a title like this one? Shame on me and my rush to reborn this old story...

Chapter 8:
Invitation

The giant guardian of the tower, Ikkam, was shaking it's legs, probably waiting for the best moment to attack Eyodar. After some minor traps in his way, now he would have to fight for his life.
If at least my life was the only one in danger, he thought, when he remembered Jeryah, his daughter, that was locked in that tower, with the ghost Worroc.
Eyodar drew his sword and held it with both hands to perform stronger attacks. When he did it, the spider begun its attack.
Its legs were fast and powerful, trying to hit Eyodar when he missed a strike. He was also fast moving his sword, and could cut Ikkam's major attacks. But a single mistake could end up with his life. Quickly, he was jumping from side to side, to avoid the attacking legs of the spider, while the sword was cutting in every direction to make sure the attacker wouldn't really hurt him.
But that wasn't a good strategy. After some moments, Ikkam's movements became umpredictable and Eyodar was hit a lot of times, becoming weaker. The spider had now learned his movements and could break trough his defenses easily.
Then, he remembered the dagger. The weapon that saved him from the bandits outside the tower was the only possible way to defeat this new enemy.
With a desperate move, he threw his sword to the spider's body, trying to damage it somehow. He failed. Then, he drew the magical dagger, dodged an attacking leg and...
It didn't work, again. A second leg appeared from nothing and hit him in the head. For the first time in that fight, he fell to the floor. There, there wasn't much he could do against the power of the guardian of the tower. He dodged some attacks before he knew he was lost. When Eyodar understood he was going to die, he decicided to cut the air just as he did against the bandits.
Time slowed down. The slash in the air made by the dagger's blade was visible to Eyodar's eyes, as he was cutting everything in front of him. But, despite the results it had against the bandits, it was making no effects in Ikkam.
Eyodar stared horrifyed at his enemy, as he realised his only way of getting alive from that combat had just failed. Ikkam's face showed what it seemed to be happy for that surprise. It stroke the last attack.

'- and that's the cost of not being part of the Empire' sayd Joldoth, and all the guards nodded as if they also meant to say that.
However, Ilekod didn't react to that. Since that moment, he stopped reacting to the other guard's chat. Did it really happen, or was it simply his terrible imagination tricking him once more? For a moment, it seemed like the tower's gates flashed and something strange happened. As if someone casted some sort of magic. As he was the only one of the group of guards that was directly facing the gates, he could understand no one saw the little flash, but that strange feeling of magic in the air...
'Ileks, are you with us?' asked someone, bringing Ilekod back to reality.
No.
'Yes, of course' he answered, automatically.
'Gosh, you're not here! If someone tryed to enter the tower right now, you wouldn't even see him!'
'Yes... I think you're right...'

The entire room blow up and huge pieces of rock felt to the ground. That space wasn't safe anymore and even a part of the ground felt with the weight of the spoils. Ironically, Ikkam moving to Eyodar to kill him, absorved the rock's weight and saved his life. As it was a very powerfull guardian, it didn't die, too, but was very close.
Eyodar oculdn't believe what's just happened. He lost that battle. He was going to die in front of his enemy. And suddently... Everything exploded and Ikkam felt immediatly near him, saving his life by accident. What did that meant?
The smoke was lowering. There was a shape in the wall which Ikkam had come from. As it was becoming more visible, Eyodar found that the entire wall had fallen, and the shape that stood there was a human one. But... he knew the thing that was in front of him was no human being.
Then, he realised what it was. The one he wanted to defeat, the one that was possibly harming Jeryah, his daughter, had just saved his life! But why?
Worroc spoke for the first time:
'I had hoped you were the one who could defeat Ikkam. It seems that you're not that strong. Or at least stronger that the others. But that doesn't matter right now. I've arranjed your way through the tower. Come through this wall and you'll have a chance to get what you're looking for. But I really doubt you can do it. Just be aware of the dangers, or else you won't be able to die fighting me, but perhaps a bit earlier than that.'
Then, he disappeared, just like Eyodar thought ghosts did.
What now? Should he trust his enemy and go through the wall? Or simply run away from that strange place to find another way up?
Then, a sound echoed in the tower: it was Jeryah screaming, as if she was in real danger.
Jeryah...

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 31

“Please, open your eyes…”
Despair ruled their hearts. Panic moved in the shadows which made Annya disappear.
‘What if he won’t open his eyes anymore?’ Cassey was desperate, grabbing his body to hers with all the strength she had left. Yes, she had heard the shout, golden light taking care of shadow and disappearing for good. He had just fainted; at least it was what she had thought. But now, confusion was taking care of her mind, mixing memories with present. And, the more confused she was, the tighter she grabbed Rick’s body.
“Cassey…”
Her name… Was Cassey really her name?
“No…”
A pair of arms lifted her up, causing her to lose Rick’s touch.
“Lemme go!!!”
While Cassey’s eyes met the engineer friend, Fred, his eyes met one pair of red and wet eyes.
“Why are you doing this?” she said talking to him as a traitor.
“You made me once join the team to meet that someone. I need Rick to do that. Without him, my quest is over, since I just can’t be in this forest alone.” Fred paused. “Mike will take care of this, okay?”
Cassey looked at the ground embarrassed. But she didn’t meet the floor. In fact, she met an eight-year-old girl and a cute puppy almost crying, but trying to comfort her too. She felt useless. Crying is no way to solve things!
The cry was interrupted by Mike, whose action was strangely correct. After checking Rick’s blood pressure and air circulation, Mike brought a bucket filled with water.
“What is he using that for?” Cassey asked.
“I guess I already know the aim…” Fred said grinning.
Without hesitating, Mike raised the bucket and started bending the bucket. Wetting Rick? Waking him up? Not necessary.
As soon as the water started its way to Rick’s body, the unmoving corpse moved, but not quickly enough to avoid getting wet until his bones.
“This means?...” Ashley started from the viewer’s place.
“Yes,” Fred concluded “Rick was wakened all along…”
The crying arrow speeded up until the stage. Cassey was now facing Rick, wanting to kill him.
“You have been joking with me all along… WHY???” she demanded explamations.
He grinned. “Your breasts…”
Rick had never been hit so strongly… He had now landed in a tree many metres away, causing the ground to tremble with the shock. “Ouchie…”
“So, this also means…” Ashley confirmed.
“Yes, Rick won the battle.” Mike said joining the group heading to Rick, accompanied by Horous jumping happily.
“So where is Annya?” Fred asked approaching Rick, who was able to hear the question.
Rick was deadly serious. “Found her.”
In the floor between thick vegetation laid her body. It was losing power, the black smoke was fading away, but Rick sensed something. Mike hurried to heal her.
“STOP! She’s alive!”
Mike stopped immediately but she still didn’t move. Her body was just there, laying waiting for Nature to take its course. ‘Is this a trap?’ thoughts ran through his mind ‘Or did I really kill her?’
“You can’t be dead!!!” he panicked shouting at the unmoving corpse. “You’re just pretending!”
‘No, she isn’t.’
“You can’t…” his blank expression expressed his guilty feeling. “I can’t…”
Then, moving at Mike, he shouted making Cassey heard from far.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THERE??? HEAL HER!!!”
Mike winked at him, making somehow, the guilt to fly away. He was calmer now, he had to chill down. Mike quickly approached Annya, without fear, followed by Horous who was still afraid of the black smoke.
“She’ll be alright.” Fred affirmed. “She was still breathing and the dark force hasn’t disappeared yet.” Rick was finally smiling. “Mike has excellent healing capacities, don’t you think, Ashley?” he asked in a happy tone.
However, he didn’t obtain an answer. Ashley was staring at the place where the surgery was taking place, blushing a bit.
Rick grinned. “Don’t tell me she’s in love with the dog?”
“Well, Horous is cute, isn’t he?” Fred reattributed the smile.
But they understood where she was staring at. The surgeon.
Suddenly, Annya moved. Everyone approached her, waiting her to open her eyes and ready to use their weapons.
‘Thynia…’
Annya stood up as fast as she could, remaining blank, trying to remember the past events. The bloody background, the golden faggot, the loosen battle. Loosen…
“GET AWAY!” she shouted has strong as her thick lungs permitted. “Get away you all! DISAPPEAR!!!”
‘Where are you?’
Fred, Ashley and Mike eventually rewinded, as Rick had mysteriously disappeared.
But she was weak; her powers wouldn’t just come out that easily. The pointing hand was raised down with disbelief, something Annya was about to meet.
Then, they heard a whistle. Harmonious sound coming from his lips. Who would resist?
“Guess what,” he happily said “I found Thynia! I had lost her when saving Cassey…”
Then, he turned at Annya. He smiled at her, glad the red and painless eyes had disappeared. “This time is really you…”
She wouldn’t move a muscle, afraid of any of his movements. After the battle, she knew he was capable of everything and battling him would be her death.
“So…” he started normally “wanna join our little team?” all the four present were stunned.
“Are you mad?”
“She’ll kill us while we sleep!”
“Have you injured your head or something?”
Rick was unable to actually see Annya’s reaction due to the questions’ bombing. She just stood up as fast as her hurt body permitted, shook her clothes and slowly left to the thick vegetation.
Somehow, the questioner was able to escape the questions’ sea and grabbed Annya’s hand. “Give me a direct answer.” He begged as seriously as his personality permitted.
“No… I will never join such group as yours…”
He left her hand and let her go. She didn’t even look behind, no last look before final goodbye, but Rick’s capacity to forgive was operational today.
“Look up to us if you have any problem, okay?” he shouted from behind waving at her. She couldn’t resist and eventually looked behind her, seeing the hopeful faces hoping a temporary goodbye.
“Stupids…”
The wind blew for the last time that day, bringing to Rick the last sensation of darkness. Now, she had finally left.
“Hey,” Ashley inquired “where is Cassey?”
“Oh… she stayed… at the place where…”
Rick wasn’t able to finish the sentence. He completely collapsed in the green ground.

Fifteen Journey - Chapter I

Hello again!
I know you are all asking: "What is this?" and I'm gonna answer: these are special paragraphs containing the summary of the story so far, but, better than that, these chapters are perfect to get to know your favourite chapters. I'll do them in important parts of the story, to summarize, and to introduce other characters too.
These chapters also have a different format and number since they're not real chapters. It's just like if I took someone from their natural habitat and put them there. They also have long names.(I like long names! :D)

Chapter I – Hurray to the confident hero! A full summary so far.

The shine lightened all the stage. The two faces glowed with happiness, making the guest feel comfortable.
“Hello, and welcome to the evening show, presented by me, Fipa!” the interlocutor directed to the camera “Tonight, we have here the hero of our favourite series, Rick Flaim!”
“Hello everyone!” the outgoing teenager greeted.
“It’s nice to have you here.”
“Oh, my pleasure!” he declared while changing his posture to a relaxed one.
“You’ve been to Levinita, where you started being a Tourch player. Then, you beat 4 players, not counting little Ashley, plus gaining some strange powers.”
“That is right.” He let himself slip in the little sofa.
“So, what’s like to be a Tourch player?”
“It’s quite amusing having all those fans pursuing me and all…” the addictive smile in his face raised, turning a serious one after changing topic. “Also, there’s the stress problem. The battles you feel you have to win, the pressure of the people surrounding you…” he affirmed between interlocutor’s nods “But, it’s quite a good experience to exercise, specially sword using. Plus, you get to do new friends! And adding more girlfriends…” the smile appeared again.
“I see you have a long list of girls. Oh, there is one question our fans wanted to ask you! Why did you enter in Tourch?”
Rick contracted himself with embarrassment. “Actually, my friends pushed me to come. What I mean,” he said rushed “was that I was completely drunk and was easily manipulated to put my name in that special box where the candidate’s names are put.” He said, denying his fault.
“So you didn’t quit enter by yourself…”
“Something like that.” He seemed to have relaxed a bit “But I wouldn’t change a bit as I would drink that coup of beer again!” the wink appeared once again.
“So, alcohol is one of your hobbies…”
“Not quite a hobby, more like a job…” the sound of laughing was heard in the filming area “I usually do bets concerning alcohol with my friends and I seem to always win…”
“Speaking of friends, who is your current best friend?
“Oh, that is a secret!” he said still smiling.
“Come on, give us a hint!” the interlocutor insisted “Is it Cassey?”
“Oh, no no, I have a different relationship with Cassey. But who knows in the future…” he said with a friendly grin.
“I get it! Then again, another question. Who is the person you admire the most?”
“Uhm, that’s a good one… But the answer isn’t that hard. It would be me!” he affirmed confident.
“I shouldn’t have asked this one…” Rick nodded in agreement. “What’s first: battle or love? This is from a girl’s magazine…”
“The source is easy to find out…” he showed his friendly grin again “But I guess it would be battles. After that, there is always time for romance and stuff like that. Don’t lose hope, girls! I’m still single!” he talked directly to the camera, pointing his finger to the listener. He quickly turned to his serious mode. “But battles are the fighter’s main worry, don’t you think?” the interlocutor agreed. “I also discovered that special golden power…”
“That’s a thing our fans did not understand already, where did you get it? The first time you used it was against Fred, wasn’t it?”
“Yes, it was. But to be honest, I don’t know where that came from, neither why.” His body contracted again, trying to force the mind to think. “I think there’s a connection between this new power and Nick, since they both appeared in the same day, but, at the same time, I don’t feel that connection. It is just a feeling, but…”
“Feelings are important too.”
“Yes, exactly. Feelings versus Logic, which will win?” he inquired trying to successfully recover the humour.
“Ok, nice to have you here. Our time has ended.” Rick accompanied the interlocutor’s standing up movement. “Thank you, once again!”
“No problem!!! Nice to know I am famous!”
After smiling, the interlocutor proceeded. “This was the interview with Rick Flaim, before the begging of Fifteen Journey’s second part. See you soon!”

To be continued…

Butterfly Mystery - Chapter 11

Run, run to where no one can find you…
That was the way Martha had to keep her problems away. Far away from everyone: in her bed.
“Are you okay?” Jen asked concerned.
Martha’s heart melted like butter.
“Thank you” she thanked avoiding visual contact. “But I want to be alone…”
Jennifer was still concerned after leaving the room. Seeing one of her best friends like this was something disturbing to her.
“I could…” she wondered with a victorious smile in her face.
She then headed to the boy’s dormitory.

A knock on the door was heard from inside the room.
“Stay out!” Martha ordered from inside.
However, the intruder didn’t obey.
“Didn’t you hear?” she sat in her bed to face the intruder. “ I said-“
“Shut up, sis.”
There was her brother.
“What are you doing here?” Jack asked.
“This is my room, if you don’t remember.” She ironically affirmed.
He grabbed her hands and stared at her, face to face.
“If you have a problem, you shouldn’t close yourself. You know I’am always here for-“
She exploded.
“DON’T YOU GET IT? YOU ARE THE SOURCE OF MY PROBLEMS!!!”
With that, she got out of the room leaving a clueless brother behind.
“Why?”

Fury was now leading her. It seemed that wherever she went, someone blocked her path. At least, she had that special spot.
Nature was peaceful there. The vision of the garden was always comforting. She was lying in the ground, trying to relax. Nature had that effect on her. But a shadow blocked the sun on her face.
“Excuse me… Can I sit here?”
Martha didn’t quite see the girl’s face due to the sunlight but she nodded.
“Oh, this is a perfect spot.”
The girl sat near Martha. The slight breeze danced with both girls’ hair: Martha’s ponytail and the girl’s long and dark-coloured hair.
Even a detective, Martha didn’t except the following incident.
“You can tell me you’re problems if you want…”
Martha was really surprised with the girl’s perspicacity. And without delay, told her everything.
“My brother was got a person whom he likes. In fact, he loves her. The problem is that I am his twin, we lived together and I got used to the idea that he belonged to me. I know that someday we would have to set apart, but I think that, at that point, I will be prepared to accept the situation.”
“Jealously?”
“Probably, but it is more than that…”
“Only one thing, get yourself a boyfriend to make him jealous as well!” the girl winked at Martha, which made her feel better. In fact, her detective skills ere operational once again, with which she identified the girl. Pauline Bernard, the girl who her brother had fell in love with.
But she didn’t hate Pauline at all. She was a friend now.

Jack was dishoping. He, Jennifer and Mandy had been looking for Martha for about half an hour. Jack was now relaxing a bit from his tiring walk, while Mandy and Jen were talking about their school life.
“Oh, but have you seen Mr. Keith? He’s like a whale!”
“But that’s nothing compared to Mr. Jonathan. Have you seen his big-?”
“Could you two just shut up already?” Jen was embarrassed while Mandy had a furious expression in her face. “I just wish Martha could be right here…” he said pointing at two females.
“Whom are you pointing at? That is rude…” Martha replied.
Jack didn’t bother answering her. He just hugged her as strong as he could.
“Stop, you’re suffocating me!” she replied happily. He had been forgiven.
Jack now spotted the other female.
“I just had the chance to meet your twin. She really is great! Don’t you think?”
Her smiled was melting Jack, which made him blush.
“So, who’s the girl you are in love to? Is it Sally?” she asked with dreamy eyes.
‘It’s you...’
“Oh,… ahm… it is…ahm… a secret!!! Yes, it is a secret!!!”
The three viewers were having fun, each one in a different way.
“Man, they are hopeless.” Jen replied still smiling.
“You got a point.” Mandy agreed bored and getting away. “See ya!”
However, Martha had a huge smile in her face.
“I get it, I get it!!!” she left the couple accompanied by a clueless Jen.

Next Chapter:
The club’s week. Can you survive it?

Author’s Note:
I hope you liked this funny chapter. Pauline is one of the most important characters: it is important not to forget her. Next Chapter may be different from what I planned, but it will be good as well. Stay tuned and… comment!!!

Brad's Adventures and Misadventures - Chapter 3

The streets were empty. It was on an afternoon and the two boys were crossing the road, walking slowly. They were both relaxed, walking on nowhere.

It was a dark room. There was the man sitting in a chair. Suddenly, a strange noise was heard.
“Have you found someone?” asked the strange voice,
“Yes, Sir, number 6 told me about two boys that seem good to this kind of mission.”
“Perfect, Robert. Make the tests first.”
“As you wish…”

“Well, here we are, my friend.”
“Thanks, James. Well, see you tomorrow”
James left. For a brown haired boy that wears the same blue clothes everyday, he was a pretty good friend. Good enough to worry about the others. Without him, Brad was alone.
He knocked at the gate loudly. Nobody answered.
“Where did I put my keys? I hope I brought…”
The sound of leaves smashing was heard.
“What was that?”
Another noise. It seemed to be getting closer.
“Who…Who’s there?”
No answer.
Then he saw a thrown stick approaching him.
“What a…?”
With a quick movement from his arms, he managed to defend himself. Then a rock appeared, falling from the sky. He didn’t had time to think, only to run. The rock fell on the ground, breaking into pieces.
Then was a sound. The sound of a popular killer in the West. The sound of a pistol.
“Run, Brad. Run.” He thought.
Then he turned around. The bullet was in the wall, leaving a little smoke in the air.
He was shaking. This was too much. Why was all this happening?
Then, someone appeared behind the bushes. A dark haired person, with brown clothes and green eyes, holding a gun in his hand.
“You…”

Author’s note:Is it better? Comment so I can know.

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 30

Water… I am sensing water…
Rick, somehow, opened his eyes. Horous was licking his face desperate, fearing something irreversible had happened. But it hadn’t happened. Rick was alive…
His friends were still unconscious from the black energy Annya had freed. But a new friend hugged him with all her forces.
“You’re alive!!!”
“Ashley?”
Although she was now showing a huge smile of relief, her eyes were red from crying.
But then that person came to his mind. Had it been real or a vision offered by his mind to his last hours? But, now, it was all real. The wet grass, the born morning, the little puppy.
But many questions remained unanswered. Was he really cursed? But then he remembered he had a task to fulfil.
“Where are you going?” Ashley asked seeing Rick standing up.
“Concretize my dream.”

Who am I?
The black world she had created haunted her mind. But it wasn’t black anymore, it had turned red, colour of blood. Then, the red coloured Nature disappeared offering a completely red vision without gaps; no other spots. And, slowly, Annya was becoming red too, only to end up as a red spot in the red background. It was the end of her soul.
However, her body was being carried by her power. She had no control at all.
Then, a light appeared from all that red scenery. The light of hope was in front of her.
‘No…’

Rick was face to face to Annya’s body. Her blank expression didn’t give him enough details of what was going on, but he had to give a reason for the life Nick gave to him.
A blank voice speaked.
“Don’t you wanna give up?” the voice came from Annya’s throat.
It didn’t seem Annya at all.
“Don’t think so…” he answered with an innocent smile. Yes, he wouldn’t give up for the rest of his offered life.
Annya’s body prepared to oppose. But it wasn’t such battle as the first one. This was the last.
The battle finally began with Annya aiming at Rick with her hand glowing black. The black ball finally got out of Annya’s hand to face Rick, but he was confident.
Something happened, the ball was diverted. The next thing Annya’s body saw was a gold-dazzling body in front of her.
“What is this?”
Rick was, in one hand, surprised with his recent ability but he, somehow, knew it had to happen someday. This was the day. Gold woke up all Nature, bringing hope to all. But Annya’s body didn’t seem to hate that power. It loved challenges.
“What is this?”
Annya’s voice had come back.
Rick smiled.
“Your end.”
Eventually, the gold colour faded but Rick wasn’t surprised. It seemed like he had grown up and get used to that power for all his life.
“This is it, Annya…”
Her body got the message. Almost simultaneity both recharged balls of energy and waited for the slightest move. Time seemed to get slower. Rick was able to hear his heartbeat finally accelerating.
‘It is now…’
In a matter of seconds, Rick realised Annya’s ball was coming straight to him. Somehow, he managed to support it, putting his hands in front of Annya’s ball. However, it wasn’t a ball anymore. It was now a faggot of energy, which was putting Rick in a difficult position. His gold ball wasn’t supporting the attack. The faggot was coming closer and closer, only a few millimetres to reach his hands and eliminate him for good…
I can’t end like this; I must live the most I can.
But even his mind didn’t believe him. The gold colour was decreasing its size, he was getting too tired…
“No…”
Two pair of arms lifted him.
“Hey, stand up!”
“What do you think you’re doing? You have a battle to win!”
Fred and Mike were just there, to help him.
“How did…?”
“He followed the gold light since it waked us up, and ended up discovering it was you.”
‘I can’t let them have any harm…’
The gold light increased his size. The hope was increasing too, hope brought by all his friends. Cassey, Ashley and Horous were there too and the two boys were helping him to do not collapse again. Finally, Annya’s body was getting weaker, as well as Rick’s.
Then, he saw someone in the woods, someone he knew too well.
‘I must not disappoint him…’ he smiled.
Dream, he had to fulfil his dream, clean Annya’s soul was his aim.
The golden faggot came bigger.
‘I will concretise my dream…’
Bigger…
‘…clean my world from darkness.’
The golden faggot was now bigger than the black one. Hope came once again to Rick’s heart, filling him with energy. The end seemed pretty close.
“NOOOO!!!”
Rick was brought some metres away. It seemed the dark faggot had now increased its diameter and Annya’s body did not seem to like the loss.
‘It is this or nothing…’
“Rick!”
He was stepping back, to support her power. Her faggot was just some metres away; it seemed he had no other escape. Then, he felt a warm hand in his.
“Nick?”
The eight-year-old Rick was standing near him, not letting hope fade.
“Don’t speak, concentrate yourself. Besides, if you die, I will die too. After all, I am not the one helping you.” He then pointed at the warm hand’s owner. “She is.”
Cassey was more concentrated than ever, avoiding Rick’s hand to tremble, while the others were trying to distract Annya’s body.
‘Thank you…’ he smiled.
She never noticed the smile but she would see much more. Even with Cassey’s help, Rick’s golden faggot wasn’t managing to win against Annya’s energy.
‘I am gonna erase your life…’ Annya’s body provoked.
‘No, my dream will come true…’
‘You will be no more than a lost soul in some seconds…’
“NEVER!!!”
Rick’s scream was heard everywhere in the battle field.
The blast occurred. The golden light had faded at last: that was the end.
But only Cassey knew what had really happened.

Next Chapter:
“Will the golden light appear once more?” – Lost Soul

Author’s Note:
Eheh, what will be the end of this chapter? I love suspense…
Sorry it was too long but I kinda liked being doing this chapter since I did it so carefully. I hope you like it too. Anyway, this is Fifteen Journey’s middle, the next part will be more centered in battles and stuff. Anyway, comment and tell me your impressions. I will wait for them!

Cupid's Bless - Introduction

Hello fellow writers! This is your good old friend Saritah ( commonly know as - The Master).Anywho, I'm making these brand new series, which you folks can identifie more easily ( about girls, boys, cat-fights, crushes, cliques, school and so much more!). Eventually I shall continue Underground, but mean while I'll invest on this actual project.

This is not really an intro, to Cupid's Bless: it's more of a clip from the actual story. So you can see ( sort of) what the story is about ( and what it's not -about).
I sincerely hope you enjoy it and ,of course, comment.

Cupid's Bless

“Scarlett!”
A blonde girl stood by the lockers holding books, a pencil case, a pile of notebooks and at the very top a tube of lipgloss.
“What?” she asked with her eyes fixed on her locker, while a dazzling girl, with dark brown hair, green eyes and bronzed skin came running towards her.
“Look, I just want you to know that I’m truly sorry for what happened during lunch break: you know, about me and Josh…”
“Josh means nothing to me” Scarlett snapped. She finished packing her material, closed her locker shut and quickly walked away, turning her back on the meddling brunette .The girl followed close , determined to have a reasonable talk.
“Hey! Wait!”
Scarlett quickened her pace.
“Would you just hold on for a second?” She yelled while pacing quickly in her DKNY high-heel. She finally caught up with Scarlett. She pulled her arm and turned her around “What is wrong with you? What’s with all the drama? You said you didn’t like him, now you’re upset because he kissed me?”
Scarlett stared at her straight in the eye with her fiery hazel eyes which, eventually, made the girl step back. Afterwards, she flipped the hair on shoulder back, applied a fresh coat of lipgloss and inhaled deeply:
“You’re wasting your time. There’s nothing to talk about. I warned you to stay away from him. What did you do? Oh, let me guess… you used your razzle-dazzle on him( by which I mean your big Italian “material”), you spread rumors about my personality ( that weren’t nice at all) and tricked me to give him a valentine’s card ‘cause: “ he was sure to dig-it”. Well, is that how “friends” are like in Italy? Well here’s a new word for you to learn, while you’re staying here: female dog- Sienna”
Scarlett turned forth again, continuing her way towards classes.

“You okay, Sienna?”
The brunette grinned and nodded.
“I’m fine, Josh.”
“You know maybe that kiss was a mistake…”
Sienna rolled her eyes, made a half smile and tossed her arms around the boy’s neck.
“Relax, babe” she said brushing his dark curls of his forehead “you need time. I have time. Wanna grab a sugar-free hot chocolate?”
He shrugged his shoulders and nodded. Sienna made a half smile and bit her lower lip.
