Memories - Chapter 2

“The heat is getting me!”
“Yo, I know.”
“Stop complaining, boys.” Rienna demanded while catching another group of grapes.
Mick grinned and didn’t even mind in cleaning the grape he had just caught only to put it in Rienna’s mouth.
“What are you doin’, moron?” her mouth was full of tasteful grape juice.
It had been like this since we were really young. My brother joined the family (me and my mother) when I was 9 years old, one year after my robotization and Rienna joined us when I was 11 years old. She has got no parents left: her parents were killed by sintists a long time ago, since they were thought to have a mortal disease, so they quickened their deaths, so she had been changing families till ours. My brother shares the same hate feeling due to his experience while robotizing, so she and my brother are real close, but they were in that time of life where you have to bug with everyone to be valued as cool.
And then, apart from my mother, there was another person who was living with us. She was now arriving to the grape camp, bringing a nest ready to collect the grapes.
As she was walking to join us, I noticed her aura: the sun, almost disappearing, was shining from behind her. An angel, some would say… Light blue eyes, hazelnut hair, that brownish skin, due to the sun and the tender lips. She was my childhood friend, the one who helped me when I needed. I own her too much…
The warm smile greeted us. “Wanna do a pause?” Her ideas always please me.
Eventually, she handed me a tuna sandwich. We were sat in the place we have always loved: under the tree from where we can see it all: our village and its busy people, our cereal field, the dark cliff, the sintists’ fortress and the mountains that separate us from the other countries. In fact, we do not know a thing about what’s behind that mountain: the sintists do not want to contact any other community. We don’t even know if we’re the only ones living in this world.
“A glass of grape juice, maybe?” the melodious voice suggested. I couldn’t deny.
Serena is her name. The name of the one who cares about others.
“Well, let’s continue?” she stood up when I was still enjoying my juice.
Me, Rienna and Mick stood up not convinced to finish the grape collection. But it ended up being fun: she has that effect in me.
Time passed quickly so we were forced to leave the field. The sun is our clock and it was almost disappearing. Mom should already be waiting for us, and she hated when we arrived late. But something happened behind me. When we were carrying the nests to the house, I heard someone falling in the ground.
“Serena!”
My breath stopped. If she was scratched in some place…
“Serena” I faced her. “Are you alright!”
She answered me not worried. “Sure, thanks to your gloves.” Her warm smile melted me.
They made the way home trying to cheer me up. That didn’t help me though. I know they regarded me as sad so I felt shame for myself for making them worry. But Serena was feeling really bad. She knew that my dream was her becoming a sintist. Only the ones who hadn’t been robotized yet could become sintists and she was fighting so that my dream could be fulfilled. But, at the end, I was the only one fighting for it. The sintists have the best life we could ever have. And I want her to be happy…
“I want to stay with you…”
I was totally shocked. Rienna and Mick were almost reaching home so they did not hear us.
“No, you don’t…”
“I don’t want to become a sintist! I don’t want to leave you!” it was the first time she had decided on her own. Due to my selfish feelings, I ignored her and continued my way.
She only came in the night and followed silently to the sleeping room. Mom hadn’t arrived yet from the counsellors, probably from some unusual explanation. Rienna and Mick did not argue with me. They felt something was wrong but here everyone has his own problems, I don’t blame them.
If at least I had let her be free…

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 36

A deep cliff was standing beneath his feet. A mountain holding him. The cliff separated him from his enemies. He had already reached its end and found a river. However, no normal being was able to get there and come alive but he had his aids. Now, what would the tricky future reserve to him? A girl approached.
“What are you thinking of, master?” she giggled with curiosity.
“Nothin’, really.” The dark skinned adult answered. “Have you found them?”
She happily grinned. “But of course! Anyway, there is no need to worry, they are coming towards us… guided by her.”
“So, Rick Flaim has already done that part of the job for me, huh?” he laid in the stone warmed by the morning sun and looked at the other side of the cliff. In those woods, they were waiting to begin the attack.
Sarith just smiled to her master. This was far better…

“I can feel it, we’re coming closer…”
Kathelin was leading the expedition until the enemy. It had to be settled right there. Rick was finally decided to beat Sarith once and for all. He could not risk a thing after the dream he had had with Kane. Something weird was happening. And they were mere puppets.
“It’s here.” The guide led them to the cliff where the battle against Sarith had taken place. The 12 hour sun blinded them so Rick couldn’t see the place where Kathelin was pointing to. But her warnings made him realise Sarith, their enemy, was there.
Still hiding his face from the sun, Rick heard Mike’s signal. The plan had started.
Horous was called and the mutant dog appeared once more. Fred entered his robot and Mike rode in Horous’s back and they were able to pass the cliff to get Sarith. None of them was able to check where Sarith was, due to the sun, but once they had passed the mountains, they could see her hideout.
Finally, Rick was able to see Sarith’s shape towards the sun in the top of the mountain. But another shadow stood next to her. Who was that male?
“Fred, Mike, there! She’s-”
A big and violent wind stroked against the remaining members in the opposite side of the cliff. Rick also felt a smelly and hot breath. As soon as the wind had vanished, he looked in front of him. Sarith was smiling and grabbing her baton. A battle was about to start.
“Welcome, to my stage… Rick.” A male’s voice was heard.
Rick looked up and was finally able to see a dark coloured young adult. Next to him, a big creature was grabbing his fainted friends.
“Mike! Fred!”
For Rick’s surprise, Kathelin made her chess move.
“Vince…”
“You can’t run away, Katie…”
“Stop calling me that!” she threatened the opponent.
Kathelin looked at the companion’s confused expressions. “How do you know…?” But she did not permit Rick to finish his sentence. She grabbed Ashley and Cassey’s hand and started running into the deep wood. “Let’s retreat. Come, Rick.”
But it was too late. With a quick jump and agile movements, Sarith stood right in front of the wood’s entry and placed her baton in Kathelin’s neck. She was still smiling.
“Let’s settle this here, Rick Flaim.” The dark coloured adult replied.
Rick turned around to face him. Yes, it was time to end it.
Cassey made her speech. “That creature…” No doubt, it was really it. The huge dragon made a quick move towards Rick. No way to stop him.

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 35

Their way back was made with silence. This was far serious than Rick thought and his eyes were still burning but that was something he could not say to his partners, not to make them worried. After all, that was his nature, since no one else could solve his problems except him.
“Are you alright?”
Rick nodded to Ashley. He hated lying but that was all he could do. Even wanting to change his facial expression, he wasn’t able to do so.
Although he could not almost open his eyes due to pain, Rick knew where his friends were. He was walking near Fred’s robot carrying Fred inside to pilot and the hurt body Cassey had been grabbing. Mike was leading the group with Horous, he could hear the wise’s voice and Horous’s footsteps. As for the rest, Cassey and Ashley, they were walking slowly and with Cassey’s rhythm. Rick wasn’t able to check her expression because his eyes did not give him enough time.
Almost blind, Rick was sat in a fallen tree. Later, he sensed the heat of a liven fire in front of him. Fred and Mike’s voices were heard.
“Lay down Rick” Mike ordered him.
“I’m okay…”
“Just do it.” Rick did not disobey. After all, Mike was his friend.

A black room, a shadow in the ground, his whisper.
“I’m not dead yet…”

His eyes opened. And it did not hurt as much as before so Rick could finally bring some energy… if he knew where he was… After a few steps, his tired feet sensed something. Touching the ground, a corpse. “What?”
But he recognised that breath. Cassey was sleeping. And she had a great body…
“What are you doing, pervert?” Rick got away. Had she waken up?
Eventually, she came back to her normal breath. ‘Weird dreams she’s having…’
Then, he saw light in the end of the dark. As he approached the light, his eyes hurt once again, but, this time, it was due to the sudden appearance of light. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw her. The hurt girl, also known as a girl he had seen somewhere before the ceremony.
She looked at him not showing any gratitude expression. Just as cold as she could act.
He sat right in front of her, sometimes hidden by the fire red flames. Her body was full of bandages and unhealed scratches. But her face did not show pain.
“Are you alright?” Rick asked before regretting that action. She answered him with a glare.
They kept silenced for a while. Mike had saved some food for Rick so he attacked it without hesitation.
“Here, take half.” He offered the girl looking at him.
“Not hungry.” But her stomach betrayed her. The growls were too loud to hide. “Maybe I’ll take it…” she blushed while Rick was smiling from victory.
“Pretty, huh?”
The girl join Rick’s gazing at the skies. The stars upon them shined as the day of the Petals Ceremony, a blessing.
“Say, what happened to you?” Rick started.
She sighed. “I had been attacked a long time ago, ever since I found the enemy. Now he won’t let me rest…”
“She is really agile…”
“Yes, very endowed to her art…” her expression had saddened now. “What happened after I fainted?”
“I can’t tell exactly what happened but that Sarith appeared… and Cassey did not let go off you… so we had to bring you.” Rick lightened his smile again.
“Cassey?” she seemed panicked as she stood up. “As in Cassey Lane?”
“Yeah, how do you know?”
“You are enemy!” she shouted. “And you are her ally or…” she interrupted. In her eyes, Rick could see her memories coming to her mind. The day of the Petals Ceremony. He was another player.
Without hesitating, the girl took position as a fighter. Kenea, it was called. A body-to-body art.
“… Flaim, isn’t it?” she asked.
“Yes.” Rick was about to take out his sword when he heard the sound of footsteps. Cassey had come out of the cave where they were sleeping.
“You! You were the one I save.” Kathelin Sumora was her name. Rick had recalled it.
But he wasn’t in the same spot anymore.
“Right behind you… Kathelin.”
Her hands were dragged to behind making impossible a single movement. Even with struggling and kicks from behind, it seemed effect less.
“What do you want?” she asked as coldly as before.
“Not a fight. Not this night.”
She calmed now and caressed her wrists. All her wounds were hurting more now.
“Are you alright?”
Kathelin looked up. Cassey was right there, ready to help. Anytime… It was a payback.
Rick returned to his warm sit, joined his hands and closed his eyes. Cassey helped Kathelin to return to her sit as well and looked concentrated at Rick. What was he thinking?
After some minutes watching the red flames, Cassey noticed Rick’s opening eyes movement. And with a confident tone, he stepped forward in the road of destiny.
“Let’s beat our enemy. Then, we’ll fight, Kathelin.”

Dion - Chapter 5

“She has already born?”
“Yes, five years ago.”
“But-“
“There is nothing we can do!”
“In fact, there is…” my father’s voice echoed through my mind as I felt being dragger closer to the one who gave me birth, causing me to sleep. This is the oldest memory I’ve got.
My community had heard rumours, prophecies about the next ruler of the planet. So I had been given a mission: keep Dion under surveillance.
But no one had predicted Dion could even control me. The anti-darkness fighters always expected my power to be light; the only power dark can not control, but my mother had already warned me my power would be air: the freedom. Namid means bird in ancient language, the language used in the Sages Era. It is impossible to escape destiny.
Hidden from the world for eight years, I left home and joined our academy as a transfer student to watch Dion. However, I quickly realize the person I was supposed to watch for was a lot different than what I had been told. She did not only have a greater power, but she didn’t seem human.
Five years passed of researches in the library. With this amulet, I managed to escape Dion’s power attraction.

She ended her narration with a sad sigh. And, wanting to end, she looked directly to my eyes by sitting in my lap.
“I will faint as soon as the spirits get me, so I won’t remember anything. It’s like the rest of the students.” “You have to follow Dion even you that may cause your death. That may mean we’ll never see each other again.” I nodded. I understood the situation. My powers were big enough to pursue her without any problem. But now, she changed her professional expression. “And, I now I am younger than you, but…”
Her sentence was finished with a slight pressure on my lips. A kiss.
Watching my perplexed look and the circle almost reaching her, she greeted me. “Bye.”
I wasn’t able to see anything more. I was dragged in darkness too and lost my senses, always grabbing the little girl.

These parts of the writing may be wrong. These were the parts I was able to see from Dion.
“This sensation…”
“What is it?” Gardn asked.
“It feels good. Powerful.”
“By the way, where are we?”
“In my mind projection. I brought you here.” Dion answered.
“Very pleased, master.” She accompanied his grin.
She walked a bit in the projection her mind had made. The dark and soulless background permitted her a coherent mind. Gardn had many question to ask but he knew he would bother his master if he’d do so.
“We’ll go out of this school. That was the deal with Pramiet.” She said loudly. “To give a use to the power. To find one person I have always sensed.”
She opened her arms and my point of view disappeared.

Let’s travel. What will be your destination, little one?

Dion - Chapter 4

“My master is calling…”Gardn’s words came accompanied by a grin. However, we only realised it was for real when we saw all the other students exiting the library not by their own will.
Gardn did not answer our recent questions and left the library with a satisfied expression. I tried to stop some of the students but it hadn’t any effect at all. Now, there was nothing we could do towards the moving puppets. And it was when I felt an evil aura that I realised that they were Dion’s puppets.
“It comes from the master’s office.” Namid replied referring to the vast power.
‘Pramiet?’ Yes, our master had failed in controlling her power.
In hope to find someone, I exited the library and searched in the corridors. I saw a little girl with her tens crying as soon as I get to the hall. To avoid more disasters, I pulled her to my back, which made her sleep instantaneously. To escape Dion’s power you need a certain amount of energy and I guess she was exhausted.
I still searched in every room I could remember of, except Pramiet’s building that was being occupied by Dion’s puppets. In fact, I guessed we three were the only ones who weren’t being controlled by Dion. Finally, without any hope left, I joined Namid at the entrance of the library. But her actions surprised me: she was grabbing a strange amulet pointing with a pink and sad light to Pramiet’s building.
“What are you doing?” she jumped with my question.
“Who’s that?” she asked trying to change subject.
“She was in the hall.”
“Her power is light.” She stated.
If I was surprised for a moment, I now couldn’t stop smiling. “Indeed.” I wasn’t the only light user after all.
But many questions were running through my brain. And Namid noticed that.
“Her power is bigger than theirs. She controls more than darkness.” With my confused expression, she completed. “To make things clearer, anyone whose power is not light will be attracted by her.”
“But you are…”
“Air, yes, but I am an exception.” I still wanted more information but she shut me up with her hand’s movement.
I looked again at the sleeping girl in my back. It sure was great not to be the only light user.
“Killian, come.”
Obediently, I followed her. I didn’t even know she knew my name. She was leading me to the ground floor when suddenly a dark and blinding light caused us to fall. They were spirits searching for victims.
“Hurry!”
As fast as I could, I ran to the janitor’s closet. Too small for us three but Namid had something inside. By connecting some cables she managed to create a energy field to keep us secure.
“You can open the door now.”
Curious, I opened it. Indeed, spirits could make it to us. I could finally sit down and rest a bit. Namid was still operating the machine’s buttons.
“Thanks.” I said.
She did not answer immediately but eventually sat in the floor as well.
“Killian…” she started.
I turned to her.
“This field is not permanent but I should warn you that you won’t be affected by the spirits. This is my strategy to save myself. So do not thank.” She said with a professional tone. But she had helped to save the child, which was enough.
Suddenly, another dark flash crossed our visions. As soon as I got used to the new light, I could clearly see the protective field was decreasing.
Then, I heard a wood-breaking sound. Namid had fallen dishoped on the ground. It was the end for her.
“Who are you?” I asked dodging myself to find her face. But the only thing she did before answering me was to show her tearful green eye.

Chapter 6 of...Blooming Spring Flower*

Heather gasped twice, showing horror and disbelief. She was just as surprise as Blake who searched for some sort of explanation on his mother’s eyes. Yet, the queen didn’t look ashamed or sorry for what she had done: looked pleased, extremely calm and at the same time, anxious to take a quick glimpse at Melantha’s expression.

The public clapped unaware of the queen’s mistake, since they hadn’t been introduced to the prince’s “mystery bride”. Everyone had heard that Watila’s prince had come back from war and was now to be married, to a “secret fiancé” who was, apparently by the announcement, Heather.

Heather swallowed hard, took a step back and blushed intensely: she refused to leave and head towards the dance floor; that was just…wrong. She was a maid, not a princess or a fiancé. Her dress was ripped on the back, she looked flushed, her hair was messy and she didn’t even know how to dance!

Blake on the other hand, decided to go along with his mother’s game and play as if they were really committed, just to tease her and prove that she wouldn’t embarrass him that easily. He headed towards Heather, leaving an angry Melantha behind; he glided through the people, with his head up and a proud smile across his dark tanned face. As soon as he stood in front of her, he took her right hand, kissed it softly and silently asked her to accompany him. Heather wide opened her eyes as if she was asking “Are you serious?”
He laughed, nodded and kindly led her to the dance floor. The musicians discussed which tune they should play, while the people observed the couple arrive to the floor. Heather loosened up her hair, making it fall over her skinny shoulders. ‘This ought to cover the dress- accident’ she thought to herself.

Blake asked her to place her left hand on his right, while his left hand slid down her back, to her waist. He raised his eyebrow when he noticed her dress was ripped on the back: Heather smiled embarrassedly and said that she’d explain later. She finally placed her other hand on his shoulder: they were ready to start.

The musicians began to play a fairly romantic tune, in honour of the couple. At first, Heather kept looking at her feet, but then Blake suggested it would be better if she’d just look into his eyes .It should be awkward, but in fact, the whole dance went smoothly. They were having a good time: Heather almost looked happy. She was smiling and laughing, like when they used to play together a long, long time ago.

Meanwhile, Melantha was furious. She was a bubbling caldron, it the middle of those merry and ignorant guests .The queen was behind the charade, she was sure. That woman might look dumb and old, but she was very determined to get those two together- and she wanted Melantha out of the picture.
“There is only one possible way out of this mess - switching roles…” Melantha thought to herself, while admiring Heather from afar.

Blooming Spring Flower - Chapter 5

Darn those gala dresses... ;)

Well, in this chapter Heather has a little accident...the kind of situation we wouldn't like to be into.

Chapter 5 of...Blooming Spring Flower

The ballroom was full: many waiters wandered around serving drinks, while the jokers made fun of the life led Watila (of mystery, murder and lies). Across the room you could see a band playing Watila’s traditional songs, a mix of jazz and classical music, near the hall-way an announcer, calling the names of guests that had just arrived, and of course, near all possible entries/exits, guards holding mighty spears.

The queen was sitting on her throne, while the guests that arrived made bows and cheers, greeting Watila’s great leader. Heather was standing by the window, feeling quite uncomfortable on her evening gown. It was beautiful but extremely tight, which made it difficult for her to breathe.Nevertheless, it was the dress the queen had picked for her to wear, thus “she would wear it, no matter what”.

“The prince will not disobey me” the queen had whispered to her ear, earlier in the evening “he will marry you, dear. Don’t you worry: no prince can resist a lady in elegant silver gown (like yours). You’ll be the beauty of the ball!”

The queen was convinced that Heather could easily win the prince’s heart back, only she wasn’t too sure about that. He seemed almost “happy” with Melantha: maybe she should just let them be…

The musicians finished playing “Watila’s Pride” , the opening theme song of the evening. Guests clapped elegantly, satisfied with the performance of their entertainers. The announcer cleared his throat, arranged his suite and with his snotty posture declared that the queen was about to make her royal speech.

“Thank you so very much, Clarence” she said, looking towards the announcer, and then faced her people once more “Dear guests: friends, family, people of Watila and other. From the day…”
While the queen continued her speech, Heather struggled against her dress: she needed to loosen up that dress; otherwise she would die on those darn garments! The ribbons of the upper vest were fastened too firmly. She was short of breath, felt dizzy and sick and had little strength left.

“…and with these simple words I finish my speech. I hope all the work and time we spent arranging this event was worth it, and that all of you enjoy…” the queen was about to conclude her speech.

As Heather pulled harder and harder the ribbons on the back of the dress down, further, so she could “be free” once more.

“…this wonderful evening. And now for the opening dance I ask my dear son, Blake…”

Almost – free.Just one more strong push and …

“…and my favourite daughter, Heather, to come on the dance floor and give me the pleasure to announce, the ‘beginning’ of yet another one of Watila’s Spring Ball!”

Heather accidentally ripped the dress open; somehow, she still couldn’t breathe…

Blooming Spring Flower- Chapter 4

Blooming Spring Flower - Chapter 4

Quite short. Drama between queen and prince.
A little chapter remebering that we musn't forget where we came from, nor ignore the past: we must treasure certain moments and memories, that we've been trough and made -us- the people we are!

***
Are you out of your mind?” the queen questioned her son, Blake.

They had left the ballroom nearly two hours ago, and could be now found in the prince’s old secret chamber “The Lullaby”. It was his old play room, where he used to play with his best friend in the “whole wide world” : Heather.

“I don’t know why you’re so…tense” the prince explained “it was bound to happen, you know: finding a proper wife and getting married”.
“Heather was a proper wife.” the queen snapped, with a threatening look “You know that fairly well…or at least you knew. What is wrong with you, Blake? Have you forgotten about your promises? You said you loved that girl more than anything in the world, and were thrilled to marry such a lady
…”

The queen’s expression had softened. She approached his “little boy” , placed her hand gently on the prince’s hair, caressing it softly. She kissed him on the forehead, smiled and sighed deeply:” I wonder, what really happened my son. You used to be such a loving, caring and spirited boy…”

“Mother, can’t you see? I haven’t changed - she has!” he stubbornly argued.
“You haven’t seen her in years now; you could have at least given her, a chance to -”
“ Face it” he cut her speech “ She’s different now: you said it yourself”The queen was silent. She was sitting on a pink “Teddy Bear” shaped bench, where Heather used to sit next to Blake, during “tea parties”. It brought tears, to the poor queen’s eyes, just to think that all of that had been swept away from the prince’s mind.

She queen stood up, slowly walked towards the door and called her charming prince:”Come, dearest: we mustn’t be late for the ball”

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 34

Now was Cassey’s turn to be in danger. What had happened?
Bradley had already left for Levinita. Kane had the stupid habit of attracting trouble causing worries for all his siblings. But this time, it wasn’t that kind of trouble. This time, it envolved magic: something that just recently Rick had used and something his country had feared for many centuries. Was the judge a traitor or someone trying to protect his belongings? The fact is that he had tried to kill Kane and that was enough to convince Rick for his guilty.
But Cassey was different. She had the charcateristic of not being able to protect herself. And Rick felt responsible for that. After destroying an astral transmission, there is no chance of coming back. So Rick was responsible for her safety.
His body was slowly decreasing the speed applied in running. His breath was irregular and his body was sweaty. He knew the place was still far away since he had recorded Cassey's voice begging for help. The voice was echoing through his mind, making him to feel the guilty. Without barely any strengh left and a mind full of negative thoughts, Rick collapsed in the floor trying to faint. But he couldn’t. Eventually, he got up and painfully continued his way. But besides the feeling, he felt he was being followed. Not a bad spirit like Annya’s, but someone who wanted to know his inner secrets. With all the strengh he had and ignoring the mind’s pressure, Rick ran like he had never ran before. And with tiredness, moving forward trying to seek the light, Rick finally reached the place from where the scream had come. Quite a scenery…
The pearl they had searched for, next to a tired body, was in the floor illuminated by the shadow of an angel. His friends were staring at him breathing. The action had centered herself in Rick. Until her grin.
“Number Seven, welcome! We were waiting for you…”
Rick raised his head but the sun blinded him. With did the shadow had to be in that exact place?
The silence was broken with the sudden quick movement of the shadow straight forward to Rick. Rick unsheathed Thynia, one movement he had been forced to do multiple times in the last days. But then something unexpected happened.
With strengh, Thynia slided in the air to send away the opponent. Rick quickly prepare the sword once more until he realized the girl had fell in the floor. Was this the strengh of the girl who had beaten the tired body?
But the girl’s appearance was a puzzle too. Cute face, nice smile and warm face. She quiclky raised her agile and thin body up and stayed across the cliff with the help of her baton to giggle one more time. Her light hair flew with the wind. Was this the face of an assassin?
Rick was preplexed. She hadn’t the strength to beat the other girl in the floor. Did she had hidden powers? It must be that…
“Looks like you don’t need our help…” Mike replied.
“What-“
Fred interrupted Rick. “Finally a break…”
‘Mike…’ But Rick easily understood why such a genious wouldn’t be worried. Still, Horous and Ashley were facing the girl with bravery. But Ashley had other intentions.
“Who are you?” Rick asked confident.
She giggled once more. “Sarith Nince. Your opponent, Seven.”
She quickly advanced too fast for Horous or Ashley, who flew with the speed, but Rick had already changed his battling strategy. He just shunned her attack and grabbed her left hand.
“What’s with The Seven thing, girl?” he asked face to face.
She didn’t seem worried. With her baton, she tried to hit Rick but he would always figure a way to avoid her attacks. Sarith was about to make another attack Rick would avoid when she fell abruptly in the floor.
“I win!” Ashley cheered. Her ribbon had grabbed Sarith’s foot.
Rick calmly stood up and removed the dust from his clothes. Looking at the fight, he had that need to accompany Fred and Mike’s laughs: the two girls were fighting against each other just like a girls' fight. Cassey was the only one who couldn’t even smile: she was strongly grabbing the hurt person’s clothes. But Ashley could get hurt and that was the last thing Rick desired. With a quick jump forward, Rick grabbed Ashley by her tummy and tied her up with her ribbon while the jump making impossible for her to move. As soon as they landed like a stone multiple times touching water, Rick put the tied Ashley in the floor, stood up and advanced towards Sarith. But her smile had not fade yet. In a matter of seconds, Rick heard Mike standing up, Ashley screaming for Rick’s sake, Cassey grabbing the hurt person’s clothes tighter to herself, Sarith increasing her warmy smile and his vision becoming blurry. Grey powder surrounded him not permiting him to breath. Then, the saviour’s sound. A mechanical arm grabbed him and took him out of the cloud of dusty powder. It was Fred.
Rick was safe so Mike raised his head to Sarith and faced her with an angry expression. But then he detected sadness. She hated to do that…
After a change of glares with Mike, Sarith faced Rick from the rock across the cliff.
“Bye bye, Seven. We’ll meet again.” The smile hadn’t disappeared yet. Rick answered the same way and the girl disappeared with jumps into the thick forest.
