(It's) Over...

As she opened the window, she felt the sharp cold breeze pass her face, burning her cheeks, penetrating her trembling lips into her mouth. She rose her hands, placing them on her stinging eyes, filled with tears.

Sob after sob, she remembered that dreadful moment: his hand on hers, their kisses, his smile and her laughter. They looked so happy and in love…and it killed her inside. She closed her eyes, clenched her fists and left out a long, painful and desperate scream. Her breath was heavy, her throat was sore and her heart was pumping faster than ever. She ran towards the bathroom, away from that dark office, reaching for some pain killers, to “kill” the pain she felt deep inside. Then she lifted her eyes to the mirror above her, to see the makeup on her pale expression, fade away. It was ruined from all the crying. She gently put her fingers on her cheek, stared at her reflection for two long minutes, with his image still on her head.

“How could he do it? Fall in love with another girl…when she was HIS girl. They were meant to be. Why was this happening to her? When would the pain end?”

She scratched her face with her long red painted nails, feeling hatred and despair- then, she slowly “fell” on her knees right on that grey looking bathroom…and continued to weep. She was falling apart…she was loosing her mind over that…”guy”.

“I can’t believe it’s over…”

Well this is a little “story” I made while listening to Lindsay Lohan’s song “Over”. It inspired me to create a wretched love story of a girl, who sees the boy of her dreams with another girl. This is dedicated to all the girls that search for true love (like myself) and well, got “heart-brokened”! Never stop searching; the right guy is out there, somewhere! :)

Huggies, Love and Hope from
Saritah!

Here's LL's Song:

I watch the walls around me crumble
but it's not like I wont build them up again
so here's your last chance for redemption
So take it while it lasts cause it will end
And my tears are turning into time
I've wasted trying to find a reason for goodbye

Chorus
I can't live without you
Can't breathe without youI'm dreaming about you,
honestly tell me that it's over
cause if the world is spinning and I'm still living
It won't be right if were not in it together
tell me that it's over

And I'll be the first to go
Don't wanna be the last to know

I won't be the one to chase you
but at the same time you're the heart that I call home
I'm always stuck with these emotions
and the more I try to feel the less I'm whole
My tears are turning into time
I've wasted trying to find a reason for goodbye

Chorus:

And I'll be the first to go Yeah,
I'll be the first to go
Don't wanna be the last to know

Over... Over... Over...
My tears are turning into time
I've wasted trying to find a reason for goodbye

Chorus

Don't tell me that it's over
Don't tell me that it's over

Fifteen Journey's Author's Note

Dear fans,
I'm sorry to anounce that due to mental instability I won't be able to write anything else in at least the following two weeks. In other words, I'm too busy to write anything.
The reason for this behaviour is, of course, test, as anyone else, but also because I´ve already programmed all Fifteen Journey's chapters and I'm thinking of doing something called a crossover. If you know what it is, I challenge you to imagine this story. If you don't know, I won't tell you (eheh). Go research in the Internet!
I'm mainly speaking about Fifteen Journey but we can also apply this to Butterfly Mystery (that I've find out this is the correct way of writing Mystery). I would also like your comments in this post to know what do you think of Butterfly Mystery. If you don't like it, it would be better to me to do the crossover and end Butterfly Mystery, or rarely update.
Anyway, this is an important post to comment, as the destiny of Fifteen Journey and it's crossover.
Stick around!

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 18

“And this is the stage, garden, and there is the fountain.”
Kane was excited presenting Levinita to his siblings. At least, he could escape work…
“Oh, and now the Tourch’s news.”
The three of them glanced at the speaking tube.
There weren’t many people, tough. The news in Levinita were spread at an incredible speed so there was just one or two people from different parts of Levinita.
The speaking tube started his chatting again. Kane didn’t pay too much attention, just understanding the defeat of four more girls, besides Number Three. However, one of the names of the girls made the crowd rebellious. Cassey Lane had been defeated by Rick Flaim! Kane was sure that a huge revolt in Levinita would start sooner or later…

The transmission’s transparent body disintegrate itself into a million tiny coloured pieces that flew to the sky.
“NOOOOOOO… no…”
‘It’s over…’ Rick fell in the ground with his eyes closed “It’s finally over!” He started laughing due to his madness. ‘I was so close of death…’
After some time of pure happiness, Rick came back to reality. Cassey was crying silently like the night he had met her. Her sobs were so pure that made Rick feel terrible.
“Are… you okay?” he asked as softly as he could.
“Stay way from me, monster!!!” she shouted while hiding her face from his.
“Hey, Rick, I’ll… ahm… be going… you know… search for Horous and stuff… Bye!” Rick understood Mike’s position. Even Rick wanted to get away from Cassey.
“Can I help you with anything?”
“Get away!” She stood up, trying to escape his touch, and he saw her face. Her eyes were red due to the escaping tears. “You assassin!!! You killed my father!!!”
Rick was stupefied. He felt too uncomfortable. Cassey saw his sorry look headed to the floor. But, then, he contacted his eyes to hers, making her burst in tears again. She let herself down, down… only to be grabbed by Rick’s arms.
“You know,… when someone dies, it doesn’t mean he’s existence was worthless, but that person has certainly changed your life.” Cassey calmed down, only sniffing “Until the day that you forget your father, he will be always alive in you.”
“It is impossible to forget him!” Cassey replied standing up.
“In that case, he will be always alive…” Rick paused smiling at her “That is the way I must keep my mother alive too…”
“You mean…”
“Yeah, my mom is dead too.”
Cassey paused. She felt horrible. Rick was probably reliving his mother’s death and Cassey should have got over it a long time ago. Besides shocked, she felt childish.
“Well, I support you.” Rick looked surprised at her “But I still don’t like you for lying to me in Levinita. Why didn’t you tell me you were a Tourch candidate?”
“Ah, you know! Confusion, and… rivality…” he replied embarrassed.
Cassey wanted to attack again but someone interrupted.
“Guys…” Mike started worried “Horous is badly injured…”

Next Chapter:
Horous is too bad. Is Cassey joining us? Rick isn’t perfect…

Author’s Note:
Now, tests!!! I’m starting them this week but that doesn’t mean I won’t write. Comment please!!!

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 17

He felt the anger behind him.
He did not have forces to turn around…
The anger approached with all strength. Rick was able to closely escape from the astral transmission’s first attack by jumping very high. However, when he landed in earth, he felt unbalanced since he had Mike in his back and he was reluctant about leaving his friend anywhere twice. No, there wouldn’t be a second time. Luck the astral transmission was rather slow because of his weight. Horous had disappeared but Rick had more difficult problems now.
Rick was still in the hallway. However, the astral transmission had destroyed half of the roof thanks to his anger. If only Rick could pass through there…
Before Rick could notice, the astral transmission attack again with his strong wrists. This time, Rick did not see him, and he was dragged to the end of the hall. He felt himself really weak and almost losing his hope but something was motivating him to go on. He stood up as fast as he could and made a decisive choice. With all the speed he had, Rick ran towards the astral transmission. Cassey was surprised. He seemed wanting to end everything. Then, he turned his eyes to hers, which caught her in surprise. Rick profited Cassey’s distraction to advance towards the astral transmission and his suspicions proved themselves right: the astral transmission shared the owner’s concentration. And this was Rick’s salvation since he was able to get away of the hall and escape in the roof.
Cassey was completely stupefied. How could he…?

“Where should I keep you?” Rick asked himself as looking for a place to hide Mike.
It wasn’t safe to bring Mike along to the fight: not safe to Mike or save to himself…
“Rick…” the weak voice replied.
“Mike, are you okay?”
“Yeah, hey, hear… to me…”
“Yes?...”
“I’m fine, I’ve just been caught by that huge monster, that has a weakness… cof…”
“Yes?...” Rick asked hopefully.
“Astral transmissions can’t hear or see, besides… cof…cof… having eyes and hears. They can only feel your feelings…”
“My feelings???”
“And the exact moment to attack is when he attacks you…”
“What???”
“RICK FLAIM” Rick heard someone he did not want to hear “LET’S GET THIS OVER WITH!!!”
‘I’ve got to face my fears…’
And with that thought, he went to face Cassey…
“Good luck…” Mike said from behind.
“Thanks…”
This moment of friendship was cut when the astral transmission found Rick. He only had time to escape feeling the soil trembling behind him. He tried to put the astral transmission far away from Michael, and, in fact, he did it. But this time, the attacks were more concentrated in Rick than before, as well as the strength used. He decided to stop defence and pulled his sword. Thynia had a huge will to fight, or dance as Rick called his sword’s attacks. He approached the astral transmission and took out his sword. The transmission was too slow: Rick got behind it before it could even turn around and when it was finally able to do it, Rick had already started his attack. With all the strength he had, he made his attack, whishing he could penetrate the transmission’s flesh. However, the inconceivable happened. Rick passed through the transmission as air without any physical difference, except for the mixture of feelings than he could sense inside the transmission body. That inexistence explained the transmission’s translucent body. Now, Rick was back to back with the transmission. Or so he though…
All that Rick felt before closing his eyes was a huge pressure in his back, like if it was being destroyed by some kind of wind force too strong to resist. That way, Rick, or his body, was dragged far away from the battle field, smashing against the walls of the fortress.
“Rick!” Mike shouted hoping the friend to listen to him.
The transmission approached Rick. Cassey had a large smile on her face.
“It seems that in my first battle I’ve ended victorious…”
The transmission stared in front of unconscious Rick waiting for Cassey’s orders. She was waiting for something that Mike didn’t understand. Then, Cassey’s wait appeared: Rick was showing signs of live.
“Now, Dad, DESTROY HIM!!!”
Rick closed his eyes waiting to see the tunnel. The divine tunnel. But that tunnel did not want to appear and, for Rick’s surprise, he noticed that he could open, painfully, his eyes, only to see the mutant dog protecting him.
“Horous…”
Horous was confusing the transmission since he had more feelings mixed up than Rick. This gave time to Rick. However, there wans’t much time left: Horous had been hit and had transformed itself back to a puppy landing somewhere Mike could guess.
“HOROUS!!!”
“They can only feel your feelings…”
Rick had to get rid of his feelings…
Mike had fear: Cassey was watching the battle some metres away from him, he couldn’t see Rick and Horous was nowhere. Things couldn’t get any worst…
Pureness, emptiness but at the same time a huge liberty. Freedom.
‘Getting rid of my feelings…’
In fact, it was difficult to get in such a state but once reached, Rick felt free, free from discord, free from problems. He was the world and the world was him.
Before noticing, his body advanced without asking for permission. Thynia was ready; she shared the same feeling. The astral transmission knew there was something there, so it prepared to attack…
“And the exact moment to attack is when he attacks you…”
The exact moment was there.
Thynia penetrated the transmission’s spirit.
Mike was full of hope. Cassey was horrified. And Rick had won…

Next Chapter:
Surprises to discover. Crying Cassey. Where is Horous?

Author’s Note:
This chapter is briiiiiiiiiiiliant!!! I’m so glad I’m me!!! I thought I couldn’t make a decent action chapter but this is the prove I was wrong. I know that this isn’t perfect, that is why I’m asking you to comment!
I’ve been sick (cof, cof) and this isn’t brilliant. I hate being ill!

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 16

‘What now?’
Where could Michael be? Rick wasn’t confident enough to battle Cassey without Mike by his side. Horous was fully depressed. However, a thought ran in Rick’s mind. What if Mike had been captured?
“Horous, I need your help. Lead me to the place where you can smell Mike.”
It was just stupid being talking to a dog, but it seemed that Horous understood. He started walking at first, but got faster as he approached the fortress. Rick just confirmed his theory when seeing himself at the front of the entry of the big fortress. Should he go in? Or should he save his own life instead? However, without noticing, his legs made the decision for him. Once inside, he wasn’t able to go back, that would be from the weak. He decided to follow Horous. There was no sigh of the transmission.
Horous was at an unreachable speed when he calmed down. He was now entering calmly at the castle and was trying to smell his owner. Rick followed him, when he noticed that Horous was leading him to the dungeons. Rick staked. What if this was a trap? His conscious didn’t have time to wonder more, as Rick’s heart had already decided to save his friend. Rick quickly caught Horous and started searching for his friends.
There were several gates made from wood. It did not seem like a dungeon; in fact, it was too new to be a real dungeon. Rick’s thoughts were interrupted when hearing Horous’s claws scratching one door. Rick, hopeful, didn’t waste time. He quickly broke down the huge door and saw Mike in a corner of the silent but dark room. He did not show signs of life.
He wasn’t moving.
‘Oh, no…’
Horous quickly approached his master and started crying. ‘Can dogs actually cry?’ Rick, however, brought Mike in his back and got out of the cell. He made the same way he had been through, but this time, he went faster than ever, and more distracted than everything. He was almost reaching the door, which would allow him to get out of the dark dungeons, when someone appeared in front of him.
“What do you think you’re doing?” the female voice asked.
Rick did not answer. He knew the owner of the melodically voice. He just pushed Cassey out of his way and ran as he had never run before. However, the horrible monster appeared in front of him. He was petrified.
The huge transmission was staring at him, holding unconscious Mike in his back. He was in a huge room at the entry of the front door. However, the transmission was blocking his path.
Time passed too quickly. He couldn’t even go back: Cassey was right behind him.
‘What now?’
He closed his eyes.
‘What should I do? Try to escape would be the safest option…’
“…fight… her…”
“I could swear I hear Mike’s voice advising me…” Rick whispered.
“It’s Mike, you stupid…” Mike’s weak voice could be heard.
“Turn round. Fight me!” Cassey shouted more like an order than a request.
“Turn round, Rick… cof, cof…”
Time stopped in Cassey’s world. Slowly the so-called enemy turned his eyes to hers. And those were no ordinary eyes…
“You… you are…”
“Yes, Rick Flaim, Number 7 of Tourch, natural from Dakir. Your opponent.”
“You… you BASTARD! YOU LIED TO ME!”
“I never lied to you, the truth is that I never actually got to say the truth…”
“Nice problem you’re in, Rick… Girls is no easy business…”
“I’m going to kill you!!!”
All that Rick was able to hear was the sound of a castle being destroyed right behind him… where the astral transmission was…

Next Chapter:
And now what, Rick? Is Rick surviving from the explosive Cassey? How can we defeat an indestructible thing?

Author’s Note:
Sorry, everyone. I’ve being through a serious writer’s block. And this will get even more difficult as I’m using more action in future chapters. Just Comment!

Butterfly Mystery - Chapter 6

“And this is the bathroom, that way the boy’s and this way the girl’s.”
Martha was being guided in the school by Emily, her school partner. Although Emily was a bit boring, she was sympathetic and made Martha comfortable.
“And this is the security department” she said pointing one door “if you have any problem of any kind you can talk to them. Let’s go inside so that you can meet the security agents!”
Once inside it, Martha was able to see the department. There were about 10 teenagers working on a desk or receiving other students. Emily took Martha to one of the desks. The student’s name was Jammie, which could be seen in his badge.
“Sorry, I’m leading this new student through the school. Could you present her the installations?”
“Sure follow me.” He said with enthusiasm.
He explained how they worked. Martha was excited. Besides treating people’s problems, they can also treat about little thefts. This interested Martha in particular.
“How can a simple student join your organisation?” Martha asked.
Jammie looked surprised.
“Well, there are a lot of exams you have to pass before entering. They are not easy, I must say. One of them-“
“There’s here outside people and I haven’t been warned?”
Martha looked at the speaker. He was an 11th grade student who was wearing a much greater uniform than Jammie.
“Oh, sorry chief. Girls, this is William Detroit, our director.”
William just smiled. He seemed nice, after all.
“Welcome to our department”
Martha thanked. Emily started chating again, but with Jammie.
“Where are you from?” William started.
“Liverpool. I’ve moved to Westminster because of my brother.”
“Nice to have you here. These days, almost no one comes here to visit, it is always nice to have other people. Oh! Please, come and meet Rachel. My secretary.”
Martha and William approach a girl sat in a desk working hardly.
“Rachel, this is…”
“Martha Williams”
“I’m Rachel Thompson. Welcome!” the 10th grade replied.

After all, it was a productive night. Martha had met many new people who she could trust in, ready to protect the school and the students. Emily had already left and Martha was just walking. She looked at the faces of the students around her: they were all really happy to be with each other. Maybe, this school was the right for Martha…
However, her thoughts were interrupted when she saw someone.
He was perfect. Perfect face, perfect body, perfect heart. Martha was petrified. The beautiful face, the light brown haired, the green eyed, passed through her. Somehow, all other people just disappeared, leaving Martha and The God. Then, he noticed her and smiled at her. She just felt her face hotter than the sun. And he passed, leaving the blushing girl behind.
‘What was that?’

Next Chapter:
Who was The God? More enemies. The second date.

Please, girls, comment! I need comments so that I can see what is wrong or right.

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 15

“I know you!!!”
Kane was getting impatient. Their drinks weren’t being served in time. And no one wanted to stop the silence between them. Neither the little girl.
“Here they are… Enjoy!”
‘Too late…’
Kane was full of tension.
“So…” he started in a brusque kind of way “what are you two doing here?”
“Patience, my boy” the old man started “Haven’t my brother taught you anything?”
“Sorry,… uncle…”
Rick’s father smiled.
“That is no way to compliment your youngest cousin either… Say hello, Kate…”
“Hi… Kane.”
Kane got closer to her and caressed her. She looked surprised. Kane was almost crying. He had never had a little sister and Kate had been his younger sister while he had been in Dakir. Rick’s father just smiled. Still, Kane wanted answers.
“But, what brings you here?”

The two humans and the puppy looked stupefied at the huge fortress.
“What is this thing???”
“Number 12 must be trying to protect herself rather than get in big fights. A smart technique, I must say…”
“Forget the technique, smarty pants… How do we get inside it?”
“Well,” Mike started “If the fortress is this big (bigger than my knowledge)” Rick ignored “it must have a weak point or something. We just have to find it…”
“Do you imagine how many days we would be walking around the fortress to make a complete circle? About 20 or more!”
“But we’ve got to try. Don’t you wanna defeat Number 12 and get to the next stage?”
“Yeah, but…”
“Good, now proceed and start searching for an entry.”
Rick was angry about how Mike had made himself the leader of the group. How could he? Rick was the one that was competing, not Michael! Fortunately, Rick found a entry in the first minutes, making his anger disappear because he found it, not Michael.
“Found it!”
Michael did not bother too much. He just got in it, followed by Horous. Rick felt offended again, but this time, his anger vanished a lot sooner, after passing through the hole. He barely wasn’t able to control his voice, fearing he could scream in some seconds time. He just ran out of the fortress, didn’t bother if Mike or Horous was following him. Eventually, when he thought he was distant enough, he remembered his last vision. The horrible vision of a huge monster, blue, transparent light blue, even bigger than the fortress.
‘Am I fighting a thing that big?’
Then, he heard steps. He quickly grabbed Thynia and prepared to the confront. However, all he heard was a bark.
“Oh, it’s you Horous… Where is Mike?”
Horous seemed depressed after hearing this. Mike wasn’t appearing…

Next Chapter:
Where is Mike? What are Rick’s siblings doing in Levinita?

Author’s Note:
Fred, this chapter was dedicated to you: we should never abandon our friends, even if that puts in risk our own security. Please forgive me, I don’t want to lose your friendship!
Oh, and comment as always. (It is an order, not a request, eheh)

Brad's Adventures and Misadventures - Chapter 1

The alarm clock rang.
There was a boy looking for the four walls around him. He was Brad, a twelve year old boy, not just more than a simple boy.
“Let’s see” said him “It’s twenty past seven, and I’ve got to wake up to school in 10 minutes and go on another horrible day of my life”.
Then, a scream crossed over the room:
“Bradley! Go take your breakfast! Now!”.
“Coming, mom.”
He climbed downstairs. His expression was terrible. While he was walking, five small kids, also known as his small brothers, crushed against him.
“Watch it” said Brad. But no one heard him.
He entered in the kitchen. A small kitchen where was his father, reading a newspaper, his mother, bored as ever, and his sister, putting her things away.
“Brad, you’re late! Take your breakfast and go to school!” said his mom.
Don’t worry, dear.” Said dad. “I’ll take him. So move on, Brad!”
“I’m already ready, dad.”
“And you, Carol? Are you already ready?”
“Sure” said Carol, Brad’s sister.
Everyone entered to the car. Brad, Carol, his five little brothers and dad. Mum was a home worker.

Brad arrived to school. As soon as he stepped the school floor, someone gave him a punch in his shoulder.
”Hi! How’s going my best punching sack?” said the boy.
“Ah ah ah. Very funny, James. And how is my best friend going?”
James was really his best friend. While James was always happy, Brad was solitaire and he didn’t have much friends.
“Well, I’ve got to my class” said James.
“Our class” said Brad. “Or should I say the hell?”
“It’s all the same.”
They started to run to their classroom, and when they opened the door, they only saw paper planes and material flying in the air and people talking.
“Ouch! I’ve been hitted by one rubber.” Said Brad.
“Lucky yours it’s not a rock, it could be worst.” James said.
“Our seats! Finally, I can… Ouch! Stupid pens! Oh, hi, George.”
“Hi guys. Here so soon?” Said George, an other Brad’s friend.” Do you know what Susan said? No?” But before they can start to talk, George was already talking. “She said things that I never heard before.”
“Like what?” asked James.
“Ah… I don’t know. But they were interesting.”
“Really?...Oh, boy…” said Bradley.
And when Brad turned to Susan, he started to dream. She was the girl of his dreams. Beautiful, intelligent and nice. But then…
“Good morning, class.” Said the teacher. “Today we are going to have the visit of this man. He’s going to watch our class. So give a good example to him.”
And the class started normally.

Underground - Chapter 7

If the heart is blind, so is the soul...
Open your eyes , see the road ahead!

The Underground
- Chapter 7 -

Elise rushed outside, again into the poring rain. Looking right and then left, crossed the road and continued to walk along the street back to the park. She took long, large and determined steps, but her mind wasn’t at ease.

She kept telling herself that it wasn’t her fault, Brian was the one who overreacted and acted stupidly; still, she felt that something was wrong and she could have avoided the whole situation. She quickened her pace when she finally saw the cabin.
She reached for the door, closed her eyes and opened it:
“Look, I’m sorry ok?” she apologised.
There was no answer.
“Enough! I don’t deserve this, Brian….” She said stopping her foot, against the wooden floor. Finally, she opened her eyes. Her lower lip trembled, her eyes stung, as she looked at the empty cabin. She turned around, left and closed the door behind her…

It was still raining heavily. Her hair was messy, her clothes were wet and her backpack seemed to weight a ton. She continued to walk; by this time she was completely lost, frightened…in other words, miserable. She didn’t know what to do, where to go, who to talk to…She knew she had blown it off, she had lost two friends in one day.

While she walked, she rose her hand, placed it on her lips, left out a sob and carried on. Her cheeks were wet from rain and rolling tears. She was nearly blind, from all the water and deaf from all the stress and traffic.

After that, time started passing by slowly, in “the slow motion” kind of slow. She was numb, desperate, lost. She dragged her feet around the block, under the rain and thunder, with nothing but a backpack and pallid expression.

Suddenly, she fell on her knees and unhurriedly took out Lance’s blue tissue. She lied back, held the fabric close, blinked twice and slowly closed her eyes. She heard a last lorry/truck honk, before it all went black.

The Haunted Tower - Chapter 4

I think the best part of the story has finished, already. That's because I've been planning those 3 chapters a lot before I've posted them, and now the rest of the story won't be as planed as those first chapters. Even though, I'll try to write the best I can. He it goes the 4th chapter, enjoy it:

Chapter 4:
The Ancient

The souldemons have already gone, but Eyodar's heart was still bumping very fast in his chest. When the leader looked at him after telling that there were survivors of the massacre in Thronkster, he thought that he had been unmasked. But then, the leader looked to someone else and continued his speech. It was just a false alarm.
That day was the last peaceful day in Ashlaam, at least for Eyodar. Since his sword wasn't a magic one, he would have to search the city for new weapons to defeat ghosts. He would also have to get informed of how to get in the tower and rescue his daughter, Jeryah.
After a lunch in the Broken Cup Bar, Eyodar decided to visit the darkest part of the city. As many other cities, Ashlaam also had a part were the murderers were those to impose their laws and were death was a common event.
There, he found a small tent were some strange weapons were being exposed. He got into the tent and searched for the seller, but it looked empty. When he was preparing to leave, a very old woman appeared near the exit of the tent.
'Hi there, my dear!' she sayd, smiling at him. 'You're finally here...'
Eyodar hesitated. Did that old woman really knew he would get in her tent? Then, he answered her:
'Yes, I think I'm really here... Are you the owner of this tent?'
'What do you think, Eyodar?' when she sayd that, the warrior understood that something was wrong. How could she know his name?
'How do you know who I am?' he asked, scared of the strange knowledge of the woman. 'And who are you?'
'Eyodar, you shouldn't bother about me now. You have to save your daughter from that terrible ghost in the tower.'
Eyodar was shocked. How could that woman know about his plans? How could it be possible? After a scary and silent moment, the old woman decided to talk again:
'Jeriah isn't dead yet. However, you shoud better hurry up: there are a lot of things much worse than death, and Lord Worroc knows them very well' she stopped, but as Eyodar was still silent, she decided to go on with her speech. 'As you know, your sword won't be able to hurt Lord Worroc. You'll need a magical weapon. Did you visit me to ask for one?'
Before answering, Eyodar thought she already knew the answer. A predictable smile on her face when he answered confirmed his theory.
'So' she sayd. 'I think you'll like this one. It's a very powerful dagger, made by a very important wizard in Scholken, a city near yours, Thronkster' then, she showed a little dagger, with a dark red blade. Eyodar grabbed it, and immediatly felt the magic that powerful object had. Then, he finnaly decided to ask the question that has been pumping his head since the old woman talked about his mission:
'Thanks, but... Why are you helping me?'
The smile in her face dissapeared.
'First of all, I think you should know who I am' she sayd, looking serious for the first time. 'I'm the Ancient, and my job is to revenge the death of my ancestors, that died in the arms of Lord Worroc. Since the day He killed them, my family has been helping the other vithims of His power and destruction , not only to avoid more deaths, but also to help anybody who can kill Him to do it.
«As you can see, no one has alredy killed Lord Worroc. When you'll enter His tower to save Jeriah, you'll probably see many dead people. Just don't worry about them: you'll only have to pass trough the obstacles of the tower and then hit Lord Worroc with that dagger. Any questions?'
Eyodar was very confused about what she sayd. So, she was the Ancient, and was helping him to save his daughter because she also wanted to kill the ghost. However, she didn't explain why didn't her family itself fight Lord Worroc, and how could she know so much about him. Unfortunately, she seemed to want him to leave in that moment.
'No. I'll just try to kill him and bring my daughter back!' he answered. The Ancient smiled again and Eyodar left the tent.
When he was getting back to the Red Fish, a group of people surrounded him. He understood that group was one of the groups that was attacking everybody in that part of the city. The leader of the group grabbed his sword, and then the others followed his movement. There was no place to run... He had to fight them...

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 14

“Boys! What brings you here?” the enthusiastic servant asked.
Mike had to answer because Rick was seriously filling up his stomach.
“We…munch…hadn’t any food…munch…left and… Stop making so much noise Rick!”
Rick looked offended at Mike and started munching again, only followed by Horous.
“Well, 3 and 7, welcome to my hut! I suppose it isn’t as comfortable as the things you are used to…”
“Please!” Rick interrupted “Don’t say that! You can’t imagine the joy I had when I entered your hut!"
The old servant was emotional.
“So, where are you going now?” he asked.
“Well, just continue to go to where destiny leads us and see what we can find.” Mike answered because Rick and Horous were still eating.
“The problem is that this isn’t that simple. You know, you can choose between two paths, each of them leads you to a different opponent.”
The servant got all of Rick’s attention.
“Tell me the opponents there is.”
“Well, I guess I can tell you. For the left, you will find Number 11…”
“Number 11… Sloan Kriff.” Rick remembered.
“He has the Imepes art. This art is really old, but very efficacious. Sloan probably will be using every property of snakes, like the unpredictable moves as well as camouflage. His secret is to attack his enemy before the enemy notices that.” Mike said with a worried look “However, it is your decision if you want to battle him or not, since I’ve already lost… But I will always follow you, until the debt is paid!”
“We will be invincible with smarty pants on our side!”
“Rafff!” Horous agreed.
“Wait!” the servant replied “There is still another option!”
They all stopped.
“Say, please…” Rick begged.
“Well, I’m not really sure, but I heard rumours that say a player has built a castle for defence.”
“Come on, I can’t take the stress! Say it in one time!”
The servant sighed.
“I’m talking about Number 12…”
‘Cassey?’
Rick turned off. Cassey did not know yet that he was a Tourch player. What would be her reaction? How strong was she?
“What exactly is an astral transmission?” Rick asked when remembering the art’s giving day.
“Well, when a person dies, his body becomes useless but the soul is still alive. Even not being exactly the same, that soul can be used in order to create a so called astral transmission, with the same size as the person’s pureness. Which means…”
“…that Cassey must have chosen her father, not only because she misses him, but also because he must have been a great men.” Rick finished.
“It is horrible when siblings die, isn’t it?”
For the servant’s surprise, the youngsters’ reactions were completely different.
“My son died some years ago. This was the second death of my life. He and I were more than son and father, we were friends…”
Mike stood embarrassed and didn’t know what to say.
“After his death, I felt really depressed. When someone who you are used to see everyday, suddenly disappears from your life, you feel completely lost. You kids sometimes feel that when you’re in holidays after the course…”
“Yeah, but it isn’t the same thing.”
Mike, the servant and, eventually, Horous, they all turned to hear Rick.
“Our family is one of the most important thing to us. We lived with them, following the rules by them taxed. We learned what they knew and, somehow, we represent a continuation of their live. Thus, we represent a part of themselves as they represent a part to ourselves too. Losing a sibling isn't a piece of cake. But the only thing you can do is to look forward and continue your path to a better future and continue your life too.”
The other two were astonished with Rick’s speech.
“Let’s proceed, troops!”
Eventually, the other two woke up to reality.
“Which one is the right?”
“Well, you need to deliberate about that…”
“No,” Rick replied “What I want to know is the opponent we will find if we go to the right…”
“Number 12” the servant answered.
“We’ve got to go.”
“Now?! We just got here!”
“I have no time to lose. Thanks for your valuable contribution but we have got to leave.” Rick thanked while packing with food.
“Good luck boys!”
They waved to the old man as they were already in the path followed by the excited Horous. Eventually, the two options appeared.
“Which one are we taking?”
“This.” Rick pointed “This is the right way…”

Next Chapter:
Too powerful. Is hiding the solution?

Author’s Note:
I’m sorry. I now my onomatopoeias are awful, but I wasn’t really inspired to find decent onomatopoeias. Notice that Rick said that was the right, synonym of the best. Which player do you think we will find now? (evil grin)
I also know that this chapter is kind of lame but is really necessary. Don't dishope!
People, comment as always! (A lot of new characters are coming in later chapters!)

Underground - Chapter 6

Follow your heart to wherever it may take you...you will never regret the path that it choses for you.

Underground
- Chapter 6 - The lost soul

Elise pulled her hand of Lance’s, and turned to Brian.
“What are you doing here?” she asked startled.
Brian took a good look at Lance, made a disgusted smile and finally answered with another question: “What are you doing HERE?”
“I asked you first!” She fought back. Elise felt guilty for her previous actions, but she didn’t know why. She felt if she was betraying Brian , cheating on him…which was ridiculous, because obviously they weren’t going out…they were just friends…
“I’m Lance Roberts” the young man interrupted trying to break the tension between the three of them “and you are…?”
“Brian Attwood” he answered briefly maintaining eye contact with Elise. He looked angry and upset. Elise could easily see the rage in his hazel eyes, even in the middle of the darkness.
Elise got up, walked towards the door and simply left the cabin, in silent but quick steps. She felt ashamed and embarrassed of the whole situation, yet she hadn’t done anything wrong. Now, she was also furious: “how could Brian do this to her?” She walked under the poring rain, into the city streets. She paused in front of a restaurant and looked inside. The day before, she had met Brian and he told her that his parents worked in that exact restaurant. They agreed to meet there on that same day, to go for a walk on the afternoon. That was why Elise had gone to that city block in the first place: she had gone there to get together with Brian; but after the bike incident she felt hungry and decided to go to the grocery store near by…and then she met Lance…
Thunder. Great just great; she wanted to go home so badly, but her bike was at the cabin. “Drats!” She thought while entering the restaurant “It’s either this, or back to the hut!”
The restaurant was full: after all it was lunch time. Elise quietly sat at a corner table, near the window. “Brian will be here anytime now…” she thought while looking at the menu “ and I’ll have to face him like I did earlier before… only this time, he’ll be alone…hopefully”.

***
“Where is he?” a red-head girl asked, across the restaurant.
The woman next to her shrugged her shoulders and entered the kitchen.
The girl shook her head, sighed and walked towards Elise:” May I take your order please?”
Elise gave her the menu “I’ll have a glass of water, please”.
The girl wrote a note down, while turning on her heels.
“Wait!”
“Hum..?” she turned her head, looking over her shoulder” Would you like anything else..?”
“No…It’s just that I couldn’t help overhearing your conversation with that lady over there- she pointed towards a woman near the kitchen- and wonder if everything was alright. Is someone missing?”
“Well, yes…it’s a boy, a teenager that usually helps around the place with the dishes. He’s been missing since…half an hour ago, and truth be told , he NEVER leaves without saying anything”
Elise bit her lip.
“Why? Do you know him?”
Elise got up, and ran outside…she had a terrible feeling- something was defiantly wrong…

Underground - Chapter 5

Yet, another love triangle. The heart is such a misterious place...

UnderGround
- Chapter 5- Misguided Hearts

Lance Roberts was a rather charming young man. He was tall, handsome and polite. He had long blonde hair, deep blue eyes and very light skin. A shy but open-minded gentleman, anyone could easily see that his heart was in the right place.
“Again,” Elise said, with her eyes fixed on the dirty sidewalk “ Thank you”
“No problem, Miss Jones. It was my duty as a fellow citizen and friend…”
Elise’s heart stopped as she heard the word “friend”. She just made a new friend, she had two friends now!
She suddenly found the courage to look at him. He’s perfect face, his tender lips and his pure eyes…such a perfect creature. A quick glimpse at him was all it took to make Elise shiver and look at the ground again. “How embarrassing!” she thought to herself.

They sat there a couple of minutes, in complete silence admiring their surroundings. They had been at the city park ever since they left the grocery store. It was raining. Every bit of ground was covered with water or mud. The sky was dark, and a slight breeze ran through the air. Still, the strangest thing was that despite all the sadness and darkness around them, Elise felt safe and satisfied with Lance, under that small ranger cabin. Even though her feet were wet and her hands were “frozen”, there was no other place she would rather be, than in that smelly old place with him.
Every now and then, during those 2 everlasting minutes, she would take a sneak peak at his peaceful face, with those weary eyes of her. She desperately wished that those blissful minutes would never end…
“ You know Miss Jones,” he began , turning to face her “ finding you in that shop…was no coincidence…”
Elise turned to face him as well. She couldn’t help wondering what did he meant, by “no coincidence” but instead of asking, she simply nodded and waited for him to carry on…
“What I mean is…”
Bingo! She thought to herself, biting her lower lip.
“I feel like I know you since…ever! And that we have already met, sometime ago…”
Oh.
“This may sound strange…but I think we’re… meant to be…”
Ooooh ...right.
Elise’s heart stopped once more…but this time for a longer while.
“Hummm…” was all she managed to say… then she swallowed hard, and felt her voice fail on her…the words wouldn’t come out. Her throat was sore and her lips were trembling. She desperately reached her cold hand to her throat, and continued to make odd sounds. Lance smiled, and gently removed her hand placing it in his…it was soft and warm.
“ I can understand it’s a bit of a shock for you…but”
His words were interrupted by the sound of someone opening the old cabin. The person was in fact a teenage boy, around 15 years old wearing a football sweater with a number five on the back. He was tall , had dark brown hair, but Elise couldn’t see his face properly because of the dark environment. Then, he came closer and closer…Elise’s jaw dropped open, as soon as she realised that the tall dark boy was in fact…
“Brian?”

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 13

“Are we there yet?”
“Of course not! We’ve just started!”
Rick was getting impatient. The wood was really big. Having Mike as a guide was really boring. He took everything seriously.
“Let’s stop here! I’m tired and it is getting dark!” Rick replied.
Mike eventually agreed. Horous was sleepy and it was getting really dark. Rick wanted information about his new friend.
“Tell me again because I didn’t understand… Why are you helping me?”
Mike sighed.
“Because I have a debt to pay…” He sat in the ground “You know, Horous is my best friend and if something happened to him I would regret not be able to help him for the rest of my live…”
Rick saw for the first time his friend depressed. He couldn’t leave him like that!
“Hey, where are you from? Juina? Kegna?”
“I’ m from Mianna, the most beautiful city of all…”
“No, Dakir IS the most beautiful city!”
Horous interrupted the discussion begging for food.
“I guess we should eat now. My tummy has already rumbled.”
They finished the food that community had given them, with Horous’s help, but no one regret the waste. In fact, they were feeling comfortable now…and their eyes were slowly closing…

“Cassey?”
“I know it sounds strange to appear here but… I understood…”
“You mean…”
“Yeah, I love you.”
Rich hold Cassey’s arm.
He brought her close to him. They were approaching each other.
“I have been waiting for this moment for days…” she said softly.
They closed their eyes…
“No more speaking…”
Their lips almost touching…
‘Finally…’
“WET???”
Rick opened his eyes. Horous was in front of him, besmearing the new friend.
“Iuck!!!”
“What’s the matter? That’s Horous’s way to say hello…”
“A humid kind of way…”
Mike wasn’t paying attention to what Rick was saying.
“Let’s go.”
“Where?” Rick asked perplexed.
“In fact you haven’t noticed, we’re running out of food.”
“Oh, right…”
“We need to find a new village or we’ll die from starvation.”
Rick gulped. He wasn’t expecting having to search for food; since being in the village he imagined that we would have food anytime anywhere. Maybe, thinking twice, that wasn’t a really clever thought…”You’re always that smart?”
Mike was caught in surprise.
“Oh, yeah, I guess so. But these are easy reasonings, you know? I guess everyone knows that if we do not eat, we die…”
“Hey, are you calling me stupid?”
“Maybe, but you are the one that asked… Which means…”
Mike laughed with Rick expression. We didn’t really understand what Mike was suggesting.
“Hey, clever boy, what was your art?”
“Horous”
“What?”
“Horous has the capacity to transform himself into a giant mutant, without losing the dog’s appearance. I used that in order to scare you, because Horous, and me, we hate fighting. That’s why you aren’t that injured…”
“You hate fighting? What do you mean?”
“Are you that dam?”
“No, thanks god. What I meant is that, if you both hate fighting, why are you playing in Tourch?”
Mike looked saddened. “My parents pushed me to come.”
“Why? How can they be that cruel?”
“Well, they thought if I won, they could be a prestigious family in Mianna…”
“That’s ridiculous!”
Mike turned to hear Rick speech.
“I should make your own decisions, and don’t care about what your parents tell you!”
“Thank you…”
Guiding Rick and Horous, Mike was now more confident than ever. This left time for Rick to think…
‘I haven’t seen Cassey for a long time…’
His dream has unexpected. He had forgotten Cassey the day before; why have he had such a weird dream?
“Hormones…”
“What?” Rick asked.
“Sorry, but you were whispering and Horous caught enough for me to understand your problem. I know you’re not that clever, and I must tell you that dogs have a perfect audition…”
Rick blushed.
“Now you can understand dog’s language?” Rick shouted sceptical.
“Who told I couldn’t? Isn’t that right my Horous-kutchy-kutchy?...”
Rick turned off. Enough kutchys today… But he was safe…
“Look, there’s a hut right away!”

Butterfly Mystery - Chapter 5

“Who are you?”
“Oh, sorry, sis. This is Pauline, one of my classmates.”
Classmate? By the look in Jack’s eyes, she seemed more than just a classmate.
Martha wanted to stop there, sleep for a moment and realize it was all a dream, but that was simply impossible. Her eyes were the only part of her body that wanted to continue the torture. Martha saw. She saw Pauline giggling of something that Jack had said, both of them having fun.
‘No, he’s mine!’
She started running and did not stop until she got in her room. She noticed it was empty while trying to recover from her breath.
She felt really tired…
‘If only I could close my eyes….’

“Hey, Martha, wake up!”
She slowly obeyed.
“You’re almost late for classes!...” Jennifer replied.
‘Late for class? Nooooooooo!!!’
Faster than a thunder, she dressed up and managed to get out of the room before Jennifer. In fact, during her way to class, she was still dressing up. However, she could not stop thinking about her new mates’ reaction to a new student. What if they did not like her? What if she couldn’t make any friends?
Before she could prepare herself, she saw the class’s door in front of her. All she had to do was knock on the door. Why was that so difficult to do? It was missing strength? Something like that…
“You’re Miss Williams, right?” A teacher came from nowhere “Please enter…”
Martha was now in front of 21 following pairs of eyes. She felt really embarrassed.
“This is Martha Williams. She will be joining us from now on, so I hope you can all get along with her.”
From all of her expectations, she reality was the most surprising. After sitting in a table at the corner of the room, the others were always trying to talk to her, so that they could know her better.
“Hi, I’m Emily.”
“I’m Peter, but you can call me Pete if you want!”
“Welcome to our class!”
After all, it wasn’t so bad: her classmates were doing everything to make her comfortable in her new school.
And she managed to forget the horrible past events.

Fifteen Journey - Chapter 12

“I’m staring at you
Just staring at you,
My radio…”
That was exactly was Kane was doing while listening to a song. His brain had stopped; he did not want to move a muscle. But then, something made him move…
“…of Tourch, the first battle has just finished. Tfff…”
He quickly glanced at his radio and started hearing carefully.
‘Interference…’ Kane thought.
“…an intense battle, we should congratulate-tfff- for his bravery…”
The radio finished its speech and started the music once again.
“But, who won? WHO WON?”
The servant, who was going upstairs, sweared he had seen a thunder. Kane just went outside so that someone could tell him who won against whom.
“Who won? Who won?” Kane was just asking every people that were on his way. They did not seem to care, just doing their shores. However, a group of people were celebrating. Kane approached them.
“Have a glass friend!”
“But-“
“There are no buts pal! Drink!”
Kane drank the cup. There were a few number of people celebrating, so that player was probably not that popular. Then, someone got Kane’s attention.
“I know you!!!”

“What happened?”
“I don’t know Mary, but the first player to appear alive will probably be the champion…”
Mary was scared. What if…? Then, someone saw a silhouette in the middle of the dust.
“Here he comes!”
“Congratulations!”
“Hurray!”
Rick was covered him claps and whistles while carrying Number 3’s body in his back.
However, Rick's party was interrumpted after being dragged to the nurse's office.
“Ouch!”
“Come on, it is almost finished” the nurse replied.
Rick had just a few scratches from his falls during the fight. He thanked his angel for giving him so much luck. He just did not understand how he won-
“Ouch! That hurt!”
“Stay still!”
…how he won against Number 3, or (Rick remembered his name) Michael Twain. He did not even understand what art Michael was using during the fight.
“My head…”
Michael had wakened up.
“Where is Horous? Where is he?”
‘Horous? Who is Horous?’
“WHERE IS HE?”
“Calm down” Rick started “I don’t know who Horous is but you’d better relax. You won’t be able to do anything if you’re in that state.”
Eventually Michael calmed down.
“I’m Rick Flaim. Your name is Michael, right?”
“Yeah, but you can call me Mike if you want…”
Still, Mike did not want to cheer up.
“I’m going out.” Rick replied.
“You can’t go! You’re not full healed!” the nurse exclaimed.
“I don’t mind…”
Mind? He minded...
‘Who the hell is Horous???’
Rick was desesperated. There was no sight of no one in the battle field. Then he heard a bark.
‘Of course!’
He ran into the nurse’s office with something in his arms.
“Horous!” Mike exclaimed “Where have you been?”
“He was still in the battle field.”
“I can’t say how many times I’m thanked. Oh, thank you!”
“That’s ok. I’m glad I could help.” Rick caressed the little dog, named Horous.
That was the beginning of a strong friendship.

Butterfly Mystery - Chapter 4

5 minutes he said!... A half an hour has already passed… Martha was getting impatient. There was no clue about his brother.
‘Where can he be?’
Her thoughts were interrupted by someone who tripped over her.
“Excuse me…” he said “I’m just-“
“That’s ok… I think I’m not hurt.”
Martha opened her eyes. Another boy; this one staring at her. She felt really embarrassed.
“Sorry…” she started “I guess I… will be going now…”
Dave just stayed there, looking at the butterfly flying away. His heart had never beaten so fast.

Martha was just running. She really wasn’t expecting to meet a new guy that way, like movies and stuff.
“Hey, no running in the hallway!” Martha heard behind her. She turned at the speaker.
It was a 9th grade student with a superior look and delicate nose. Too delicate.
“I’ve never seen you here. I’m Diane, the school’s newspaper director. You are…?” she asked with indignation.
“Martha. I’m new here.”
“Have you written that on, George?”
“Yes,… sir…”
Martha noticed the so-called George. He was an average 9th grade student, always following Diane and her stupid orders. Martha wondered why…
“You are in this school because…” Diane attacked again.
“What do you have to do with my personal life? Back off!” Martha defended herself.
“Oh, we have a wild one here! Have you written down all?”
“Yes…”
“So, wild girl, have you noticed the size of the trouble you’re in if you don’t get along with me?” Diane asked in a provoking kind of way.
“Leave my sister, Diane” the voice saved Martha.
“Oh, it’s you, Jack O’Lantern. Anyway, we were leaving. I’ve goy work to do. Let’s go George…”
Diane left resigned but with a smile on her face.
“Jack O’Lantern?...”
“Never mind, sis. Diane thinks I’m mad.”
“She may be r-“
Martha’s reply was cut when noticing a female next to Jack.

Who was next to Jack? Martha meets her new classmates.
