Dion - Chapter 5

“She has already born?”
“Yes, five years ago.”
“But-“
“There is nothing we can do!”
“In fact, there is…” my father’s voice echoed through my mind as I felt being dragger closer to the one who gave me birth, causing me to sleep. This is the oldest memory I’ve got.
My community had heard rumours, prophecies about the next ruler of the planet. So I had been given a mission: keep Dion under surveillance.
But no one had predicted Dion could even control me. The anti-darkness fighters always expected my power to be light; the only power dark can not control, but my mother had already warned me my power would be air: the freedom. Namid means bird in ancient language, the language used in the Sages Era. It is impossible to escape destiny.
Hidden from the world for eight years, I left home and joined our academy as a transfer student to watch Dion. However, I quickly realize the person I was supposed to watch for was a lot different than what I had been told. She did not only have a greater power, but she didn’t seem human.
Five years passed of researches in the library. With this amulet, I managed to escape Dion’s power attraction.

She ended her narration with a sad sigh. And, wanting to end, she looked directly to my eyes by sitting in my lap.
“I will faint as soon as the spirits get me, so I won’t remember anything. It’s like the rest of the students.” “You have to follow Dion even you that may cause your death. That may mean we’ll never see each other again.” I nodded. I understood the situation. My powers were big enough to pursue her without any problem. But now, she changed her professional expression. “And, I now I am younger than you, but…”
Her sentence was finished with a slight pressure on my lips. A kiss.
Watching my perplexed look and the circle almost reaching her, she greeted me. “Bye.”
I wasn’t able to see anything more. I was dragged in darkness too and lost my senses, always grabbing the little girl.

These parts of the writing may be wrong. These were the parts I was able to see from Dion.
“This sensation…”
“What is it?” Gardn asked.
“It feels good. Powerful.”
“By the way, where are we?”
“In my mind projection. I brought you here.” Dion answered.
“Very pleased, master.” She accompanied his grin.
She walked a bit in the projection her mind had made. The dark and soulless background permitted her a coherent mind. Gardn had many question to ask but he knew he would bother his master if he’d do so.
“We’ll go out of this school. That was the deal with Pramiet.” She said loudly. “To give a use to the power. To find one person I have always sensed.”
She opened her arms and my point of view disappeared.

Next Chapter:
Let’s travel. What will be your destination, little one?

Author’s Note:
From now on, the story will take a different path. This is the action part. I want to finish this story quickly so expect quick chapters. Don’t lose yourself!

Dion - Chapter 4

“My master is calling…”Gardn’s words came accompanied by a grin. However, we only realised it was for real when we saw all the other students exiting the library not by their own will.
Gardn did not answer our recent questions and left the library with a satisfied expression. I tried to stop some of the students but it hadn’t any effect at all. Now, there was nothing we could do towards the moving puppets. And it was when I felt an evil aura that I realised that they were Dion’s puppets.
“It comes from the master’s office.” Namid replied referring to the vast power.
‘Pramiet?’ Yes, our master had failed in controlling her power.
In hope to find someone, I exited the library and searched in the corridors. I saw a little girl with her tens crying as soon as I get to the hall. To avoid more disasters, I pulled her to my back, which made her sleep instantaneously. To escape Dion’s power you need a certain amount of energy and I guess she was exhausted.
I still searched in every room I could remember of, except Pramiet’s building that was being occupied by Dion’s puppets. In fact, I guessed we three were the only ones who weren’t being controlled by Dion. Finally, without any hope left, I joined Namid at the entrance of the library. But her actions surprised me: she was grabbing a strange amulet pointing with a pink and sad light to Pramiet’s building.
“What are you doing?” she jumped with my question.
“Who’s that?” she asked trying to change subject.
“She was in the hall.”
“Her power is light.” She stated.
If I was surprised for a moment, I now couldn’t stop smiling. “Indeed.” I wasn’t the only light user after all.
But many questions were running through my brain. And Namid noticed that.
“Her power is bigger than theirs. She controls more than darkness.” With my confused expression, she completed. “To make things clearer, anyone whose power is not light will be attracted by her.”
“But you are…”
“Air, yes, but I am an exception.” I still wanted more information but she shut me up with her hand’s movement.
I looked again at the sleeping girl in my back. It sure was great not to be the only light user.
“Killian, come.”
Obediently, I followed her. I didn’t even know she knew my name. She was leading me to the ground floor when suddenly a dark and blinding light caused us to fall. They were spirits searching for victims.
“Hurry!”
As fast as I could, I ran to the janitor’s closet. Too small for us three but Namid had something inside. By connecting some cables she managed to create a energy field to keep us secure.
“You can open the door now.”
Curious, I opened it. Indeed, spirits could make it to us. I could finally sit down and rest a bit. Namid was still operating the machine’s buttons.
“Thanks.” I said.
She did not answer immediately but eventually sat in the floor as well.
“Killian…” she started.
I turned to her.
“This field is not permanent but I should warn you that you won’t be affected by the spirits. This is my strategy to save myself. So do not thank.” She said with a professional tone. But she had helped to save the child, which was enough.
Suddenly, another dark flash crossed our visions. As soon as I got used to the new light, I could clearly see the protective field was decreasing.
Then, I heard a wood-breaking sound. Namid had fallen dishoped on the ground. It was the end for her.
“Who are you?” I asked dodging myself to find her face. But the only thing she did before answering me was to show her tearful green eye.

Namid. Gardn in the dark mind.

Dion - Chapter 3

Revelations… They are our essence, the thing that makes us learn, in which we believe. What if we discover the world we’re living in isn’t real?
Most of my memories have been taken by Dion, when she captured me to take information. However, in those occasions, I sensed her presence in my body, her spirit going through my memories searching for information that could help her. Yes, I have been a tool in her hands and I regret not be able to defend myself and let that information to wrong hands. In fact, I regret everything I did, I wasn’t able to control to feelings. If I hadn’t been so selfish…

“Who are you?”
Namid looked perplexed at me.
“What do you mean, who are you?”
“You aren’t like the other students. What are your aim?”
“You really are curious…”
“But!...”
“Need not to know.”
I shut up. Indeed, my curiosity was leading me too far. Asking silly questions… But she wasn’t normal. Namid was thirteen years old, younger three years from me. Her power was air, the power to control the wind and things of the sort.
“Just answer me one thing…” I started “Why are you always checking Her movements?”
“Look who’s here…”
I turned at the speaker. Gardn, my enemy.
“What do you want this time?” I asked annoyed.
“Oh, I need some practise. Wanna be beat once more?”
Yes, he hadn’t anything else to do.
“Bring it on.”
We didn’t even notice we were in the library. Our hands were already glowing power and preparing to battle. However, something happened. Gardn’s hands stopped emitting light and he grinned at both of us. Except me and Namid, the other students of the library were also acting strangely, just like mummies and heading to the exit. But is seemed that Namid already knew what had happened.
“My master is calling…” Gardn said with an evil grin in his face.

Dion was now in Pramiet’s office. How she hated that room, with strange artefacts and instruments. When she was little, once, she broke a jar using her powers, which made Pramiet full of anger. As long as he was the director, she must obey his orders.
“Dion, I don’t want any more students hurt, you should already know that. Otherwise, I’ll be forced to expel you…”
The reaction Pramiet wanted turned to become a grin. That perspective wasn’t uninteresting…
It was better to change subject.
“Let’s begin with your lesson…”
The boring lessons. Pramiet gave Dion a task which involved her mental capacity, and not her powers, as supposed. It was this way every lesson. This time, she had to copy a text about the harmonious sound of dolphins, the sea wisers.
She started bored. While she was writing, he was reading a book, as if her task was the most common thing.
“Master, why don’t we play a bit?” she asked grinning. Finally some action.
“Have you finished it yet?” he asked but still reading.
“It is your duty to teach me about my power.” She informed blowing the book in Pramiet’s hands in pieces.
He accepted her challenge. “But if I win…” he told her “you will obey firmly my orders and don’t ask questions.”
She grinned.
“What about… if I win… I’ll leave this shitty school to never come back… Accepted?”
‘That would mean…’
“I accept your challenge…”
He started using all his strength. A blast of magic was heading straight to Dion’s head.
‘Won already?’
No. The blast exploded in a shelf near Pramiet. Dion had diverted the blast’s way.
“Is that the best you can do?” she asked blowing her hands covered by light magic smoke.
However, the light power turned to have a strange effect in Dion. Being exposed to light, her body collapsed. The body, it hurt. Was she dying like this?
Pramiet approached her, worried about her student. However, he didn’t even touch her. Before he could do that, she screamed and let all her power free. The gloves which were controlling her power failed. She was out of control. Before faiting, Pramiet sensed the darkness destroying all his soul. This was the ultimate power.
Her head was hurting, her arms were full of power to free. Indeed, it happened. Pramiet’s office was now destroyed and it wasn’t finished yet. Fortunately, Dion’s inner battle to control her body was won. She was now staring at her own work, at where her own power had leaded her.
“So much things need to be done…” she said with a grin.

Next Chapter:
What is going on? Who is Namid?

Author’s Note:
I finished programming Dion and I guess it will take longer than what I originally programmed. But it is better this way.
It is now that the real action begins. The next time you’ll hear from Dion, you’ll have tons of action to enjoy. By the way, sorry for this lousy chapter, but I want to finish this story as soon as I can. Please comment!!!

Dion - Chapter 2

5 years later…

She opened her eyes and saw doom. Everything was devastated and no kind of life could be seen around. She painfully stood up due to a really strong headache and watched the landscape, her work. She started walking in the destroyed land full of lost rocks and green-less. Then, she saw something. It was a corpse.
She felt her stomach punched, making herself contort with pain. The guilty was too heavy to be carried by only one person. She crawled trying to get closer to the corpse. She eventually reached the pale face. He was an eighteen-year-old teenager, more or less the same age as she. She quickly took her hand off his face after sensing the cold skin. His expression was stunned. She felt she had already met him, but she couldn’t tell where or when, it was just a feeling. Besides that, he couldn’t be from Veleniar, his clothes were different from hers. A lot different. She reluctantly turned from him, as a mistake she wanted to escape from. She looked at the sky to change landscapes and try to find happiness. However, all she was able to see was a red sky and purple falling sun. Even the sky was dead.
Her sight was disturbed with the melancholic wind bringing dust to her face. She couldn’t see anything at all, but she continued her walk to find life. However, her trip didn’t last long since she tripped in a huge rock. Or so she though. The huge rock proved to be another corpse, the corpse of someone she knew really well. Garnd.
She kneeled near Garnd’s body. She felt her cheeks dry from one of the few things she had never done before: crying. He couldn’t be dead, he had promised her… She turned away her eyes from the ex-friend only to find two more corpses in the surroundings. Kilian, Namid, they were both dead. Dead. And all because of her and her stupid… She then remembered: the fight, the explosion, the life-drained soul she had. And she had killed Garnd… she was alone, forever. All it was all her fault.
The pain stroked again. She couldn’t take it… Maybe it was better that way, her life just didn’t make any sense…

“Dion!”
Dion opened her eyes. She was still crying and was now staring at Garnd right in front of her.
“What happened?” she asked.
“That is my question… Why were you…?” he shut up seeing her worried expression.
“I had a dream, a really strange dream…” Dion replied.
Garnd didn’t question her more. He had already enough information since he knew her enough to understand whether she wanted to talk or not. It was an habit, when she answered that way, she wanted to make secret. And Garnd knew the importance of secrets since he had his.
“Let’s go.” he told Dion.
“Why?”
“We can’t skip classes for all eternity. And you’ve got classes with the director today.”
Dion remembered Pramiet. She couldn’t describe the hate she felt for him. He was always telling her to learn how to control her powers. Why? Dion always though that when someone’s got a power, you need to explore it the best you can. At least, that was what the other students were doing. But her life wasn’t so bad. Each day, they had one lesson; one student per teacher was all that was permitted. Garnd didn’t have classes with Pramiet.
‘Lucky…’
Both teenagers crossed the green fields where every student could rest. However, they only used those fields because that was he only place where everyone didn’t go to. Especially during classes. Loneliness was essential to them and making friends wasn’t their style. What can I say? They were too similar to each other. But it had already rung and the students were playing near the fountain, the place where Dion and Garnd would have to pass to get inside the building. When they got there, all the kids shut up. Most students stopped playing when they saw Dion. It was certainly due to fear. She and Garnd continued their path across the playground, without bothering about theirs every movement being recorded by the kids’ eyes. However, the quiet was interrupted by a new student, who had come from another academy. She was some years older than Dion and had a convinced posture.
“Who do you think you are for shutting all the students up?” she asked with disdain.
‘Quiet, please…’
Dion just ignored her, followed by Garnd. The teenager was being grabbed by her friends, who her advising her not to defy Dion.
“Hey, ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?”
No one understood quite well. All that foreign eyes caught was the teenager inside the fountain unconscious. Dion stared at her hands.
‘I’m not able to control my powers yet… and these stupid gloves aren’t helping.”
Dion was just about to turn away and continue her path until she saw Pramiet right in front of her.

I saw this incident from the first floor. However, after Dion had been dragged by Pramiet, I saw someone watching the scene near to me. In that occasion, I didn’t quite paid enough attention to her, but I guess she was the only one who could get information from Dion. Her name was Namid.

Next Chapter:
Pramiet’s office. The gloves.

Author’s Note:
People, I’m so glad I finished this off. I have a great new to tell you all (I guess…). At least, me, Fred and Saritah passed the MOCK exam. This exam was to decided whether you’d do the FCE in June or in December and it seems that both three of us will be doing it in June. I don’t know yet Ricardo’s result but I hope it’s a pass too. Pray for us! And comment, of course… Oh, and probably, this is the last time I travel through time (eg: # years later...)...

Dion - Chapter 1

10 years later…

I am not writing this because I felt inspired to. No, everyone needs to find out what really happened since she was born. These are fragments of my memory.

Many people murmured echoing in the large room. This was no ordinary day for the birthday boys and girls. The ten-year-old kids were nervous, that was easy to recognise. Even I was nervous. I had had my graduation a long time ago but reliving those moments was kind of painful. I was watching from a separate room, but they couldn’t see us. And when I say “us” I am referring to older students that wanted to see their friends’ graduations, including Garnd, one of my enemies. Of course, I had other intentions by being there, as well as he…
The director started calling the students. We could see their faces shivering, as well as their bodies. I looked at the first student and I remembered myself, in that day, the day I received light, the worst power you can receive, at least in my country. The first student approached a table made from rock where the director told him to lie. And for the first time, I saw the director’s face: he just didn’t like it. The table blocked any kid’s movements and he, somehow, closed his eyes, and started to shine. I remembered the table’s spirit going through my brain I researching my soul, looking for mental strength and found nothing. In that kid’s case, he seemed to have the water power in himself. After all, each power requires a different personality and in Her case, I already knew which Her power was.
The graduation went through with the attribution on more powers. There was a graduation everyday, since everyday there was a birthday due to the huge amount of students in this school. There were quite a lot of kids whose tenth’s birthday was in that day. It seemed that light hadn’t been picked. I understand now why. Anyway, She was left the last. And Pramiet hadn’t done that by mistake. Before I could observe more in the other side of the glass, I heard my side’s door doing noise. It seemed that there was just me and Garnd in the room. It was better this way, nobody would know before the right time. I realise now that it was a mistake but what has being done can’t be changed. I joined Garnd with his staring at the glass. Pramiet was talking with Her something that I couldn’t guess. Pramiet then proceeded the graduation. The table put Her shining too but Her shine was different. It was black, grey and colours of the sort. I was already expecting that but I, and I guess Pramiet too, we had hope it wouldn’t happen that way. Garnd then left the room, with a smile on his face: the expected from someone whose power is ice, but, everyone knew that, he was Her best friend. I looked again at the window perplexed. I was still an eleven-year-old little boy but it was simple to me to reach. Pramiet, our director, was hopeless. I knew that Pramiet’s power was light, like me, but he had been learning some useful tricks. Light means pureness, pureness of the heart. But She had been picked to share the opposite power, the most powerful of all powers…
Dion was the dark.

Author Note:
Hi there! Dion's first chapter. I must warn you that this story is ultra depressing as well as creepy sometimes but I guess making a crossover will improve my writing skills and that is one of my aims. So please everyone, comment!

Dion - Prologue

It was a quiet day. Pramiet was quietly resting in a chair with his eyes closed. The age was consuming is life. Being the director of the main academy was tiring. Still, he knew the time was arriving. Soon, everything would change. And he had to be there. He was needed.
He stood up and got to the window. His pupils were playing what they could. But even them, some day, would be like himself, lifedrained. Anyway, everyone was, in a way, abandoned by his parents, so did the parents. This system had been working since the beginning. The students were living a lie.
His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
“Sir, the time is here…”
“Finally…”
Pramiet slowly got out of the office. He went through the corridor followed by his servant. He finally stopped and opened a door allowing the servant to enter too into the small but lighted room. The servant quickly closed the door.
“Olusiem,” Pramiet said turning at his servant “you were right.” Pramiet tasted a strange drink from the only object present in the room “This is really the time…”
Pramiet tasted once more the drink from the cauldron transmitter of light “She is born…”

Author's Note:
Welcome to the beggining of Dion, Fifteen Journey's crossover.
This story is extremely complex, so you need to read it carefully. This prologue is to introduce Pramiet, who is the director of a famous academy. Be tunned to next chapter. And comment as always!

Dion - Preface

Welcome to the beggining of Dion, Fifteen Journey's crossover!
First of all, thanks to Fred (rrrr, bastard...) you already know what a crossover is. If you don't, contact me. Anyway, if you read one of the stories, you don't necessarily have to read the other, since you understand both without reading its crossover. Dion is about a girl that has just graduated, but this graduation isn't common. I won't give you more details or the story will be ruined. The title of the story is really easy to understand (you will find out in the first chapter). Till then, have a nice time!!!
